Key Notes
- AHRI Rated Conditions (Cooling): Indoor: 80°F DB, 67°F WB; Outdoor: 95°F DB, 75°F WB.
- Low Ambient Operation: Wind baffles are required for operation below 23°F DB in cooling mode. For PUY models, wind baffles can extend the cooling operation range to -40°F.
- System Protection: The system may cut out in heating mode to prevent thermistor errors and will automatically restart.
- Seacoast Protection: Features include Phosphate coating + Acrylic-Enamel coating on the external outer panel, Epoxy resin coating on the fan motor support and separator assembly/valve bed, and "Blue Fin" treatment on the condenser coil for enhanced corrosion resistance.

Outdoor Unit (PUY-A12NKA7(-BS))

Installation Clearances: The unit requires free space around it for proper operation. Generally, 100mm (3-15/16 inches) or more is recommended on the rear and sides if there are no obstacles. Piping and wiring connections are made from the rear.
Foundation: The unit must be secured firmly with 4 foundation bolts (M10, W 3/8). Recommended foundation bolt height is a minimum of 100mm (3-15/16 inches).
