Indoor Unit Dimensions & Installation Notes: The indoor unit (PLA-A42EA7) has approximate dimensions of 33-1/16" (840 mm) width, 33-1/16" (840 mm) depth, and 11-3/4" (298 mm) height. Installation requires adequate ceiling space, including clearance above the unit (e.g., a minimum of 1/4" or 7mm between the unit top and ceiling slab). Suspension bolts (M10 or W3/8) have a pitch of approximately 5-11/16 inches. The drain pipe should be VP-25 (1-1/4" O.D.) PVC tube, with a maximum condensate lift of 33-7/16" (850mm) from the ceiling. Proper insulation of branch ducts is recommended to prevent condensation. The electrical box is accessible for service purposes.

Outdoor Unit Dimensions & Installation Notes: The outdoor unit (PUY-A42NKA7/-BS) requires specific free space around it for proper airflow and maintenance, as well as dedicated service access space (minimum 150mm or approx. 6 inches on sides and rear). The unit must be secured with M10 or W3/8 foundation bolts. Piping and wiring connections can be made from four directions: front, right, rear, and below. Key pipe sizes are Gas Pipe O.D. 5/8" (15.88 mm) and Liquid Pipe O.D. 3/8" (9.52 mm). Knockout holes are provided for conduit connections, with specific sizes noted for different pipe and wiring access points.
