Dolby Atmos® for 3.1.2ch with Surround Enhancer: The VSX-832 supports up to 3.1.2ch Dolby Atmos. Surround Enhancer, a virtual speaker technology, uses Head-Related Transfer Function (HRTF) and DSP to create virtual surround speakers, expanding the 3.1.2ch sound field to 5.1.2ch for a 3D surround experience, even without rear speakers. DTS:X™: A next-generation, object-based audio codec enabling immersive and interactive audio experiences. It automatically adapts to existing channels and speaker systems, requiring no specific speaker layout.

Reflex Optimizer: When using Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers, sound reflecting off the ceiling can cause phase shifts. Reflex Optimizer, using Phase Control technology, adjusts these shifts to improve sound image localization and create an ideal reproduction environment.
