This document provides installation instructions for the SFA Sanidouche Flat macerator pump.

Product Overview

The Sanidouche Flat is a compact macerator pump designed for low-profile shower installations. It allows for the installation of a shower in locations where traditional gravity drainage is not possible.

General Layout

The system comprises a shower tray, a waste trap, the Sanidouche Flat unit, and discharge pipework. The Sanidouche unit receives wastewater from the shower and other connected appliances (e.g., basin) and pumps it to the main sewage line.

Pipework Recommendations

Discharge Pipe Diameter: Recommended Ø 32 mm / Ø 40 mm.

Maximum Vertical Lift: 3 meters.

Maximum Horizontal Run: 10 meters for Ø 32 mm pipe, 20 meters for Ø 40 mm pipe.

Gradient: A minimum gradient of 1% is recommended for horizontal pipe runs.

Installation Steps Overview

1. Inlet Connections: Connect the shower waste trap and any other inlets to the Sanidouche unit using appropriate pipework and connectors. Ensure correct pipe routing to avoid kinks and allow for gravity flow to the unit.
2. Discharge Pipe Connection: Connect the discharge pipe to the Sanidouche unit's outlet. Use the provided connectors and ensure a secure fit.
3. Electrical Connection: Ensure the unit is connected to a suitable power supply as per local regulations.
4. Mounting: The unit should be installed in a well-ventilated area, typically below the shower tray, and secured to prevent movement.

Detailed Installation Steps

1. Step 1: Prepare Inlet Connections

   Connect the shower waste trap to the Sanidouche unit using the appropriate Ø 22 mm or Ø 32 mm inlet adapter and clamp (C).

2. Step 2: Connect Discharge Pipe

   Attach the discharge pipe to the outlet of the Sanidouche unit using connector (E) and clamp (D).

3. Step 3: Install Waste Trap

   The waste trap should be installed in the shower tray, ensuring a watertight seal. The height of the trap connection to the Sanidouche unit is approximately 42 mm.

4. Step 4: Route Discharge Pipework

   Route the discharge pipe to the main sewage line, maintaining the recommended gradient. Avoid sharp bends.

5. Step 5: Secure Unit and Pipework

   Ensure the Sanidouche unit is securely placed and the pipework is adequately supported.

6. Step 6: Connect Ø 40 mm Discharge Pipe

   Use connector (F) and clamp (E) for a Ø 40 mm discharge pipe.

7. Step 7: Connect Ø 32 mm Discharge Pipe

   Use connector (F) and clamp (E) for a Ø 32 mm discharge pipe.

8. Step 8: Electrical Grounding

   Connect the grounding wires (G) using screws (H) to the designated terminals on the unit.

9. Step 9: Final Assembly Check

   Ensure all connections are secure and all components are correctly installed.
