The Eldridge Bed
Assembly Instructions
Included Components & Hardware
A large, upholstered rectangular panel forming the head of the bed.
A smaller, upholstered rectangular panel forming the foot of the bed.
Two long, upholstered panels that connect the headboard and footboard.
A long rail that runs lengthwise under the bed, supporting the slats.
Three legs designed to screw into the center support rail, providing stability.
Multiple thin panels (14 for Queen/King, 15 for California King) that lay across the side rails to support the mattress.
Circular metal pieces used with nuts to distribute load.
Fasteners used with bolts to secure components.
A tool provided for tightening nuts and bolts.
Notes: Assembly requires 2 people. Ensure all hardware is firmly secured and do not loosen or move it after installation.
Assembly Steps
Step 1: Access Side Rail Hardware
Locate the zipped panels on the inside of the side rails. Open these panels to access the assembly hardware that connects the headboard and side rails.

Step 2: Connect Headboard to Side Rails
Insert the pre-attached bolts on the headboard into the corresponding holes on the side rails. Once inserted, place a washer and then a nut onto each bolt. Use the provided wrench to tighten them securely.

Step 3: Access Footboard Hardware
With the headboard and side rails connected, locate the zipped panels on the opposite ends of the side rails. Open these panels to access the assembly hardware that connects the footboard and side rails.

Step 4: Connect Footboard to Side Rails
Insert the pre-attached bolts on the footboard into the corresponding holes on the side rails. Similar to Step 2, place a washer and then a nut onto each bolt, and use the wrench to tighten them.

Step 5: Attach Legs to Center Support Rail
Screw the center support legs into the designated threaded holes on the center support rail. Ensure the metal T-nuts on the legs are facing upward.

Step 6: Position Center Support Rail
Place the assembled center support rail inside the bed frame. Adjust the glides on the bottom of the center support legs as needed. Ensure the legs stand straight and are flush with the floor for maximum stability. Verify that the zipped panels on the side rails are closed.

Step 7: Install Slats
Place the slats inside the bed frame, resting them on the side rails and the center support rail. Note that the slat pockets are designed to be slightly wider than the slats to facilitate easier assembly.

Bed Configurations
The illustrations below display the various configurations of the Eldridge Bed based on mattress size:
Queen & King: Requires 14 Slats

Assembly Checklist
Review the checklist below to ensure your bed is properly assembled:
- Ensure all slats are present.
- Ensure all slats are lying flat.
- Ensure all hardware is firmly secured. Do not loosen or move hardware.
- Ensure center support legs are level.
- If you need to move this piece for any reason (including installing a rug beneath it), disassemble it first, then reassemble it in the desired position.
