Introduction to Evolve Web Access

Evolve web access provides a 24x7 web interface to the TELUS Integrated Voice Services system. It allows users to view Toll Free numbers and routing plans, and make changes to call routing. This includes the ability to add, delete, or modify any Toll Free routing and announcement features, including changes to terminating numbers.

Web access can also be used to activate/deactivate Emergency Routing pre-plans.

Access Levels

  • Basic Evolve Access: Included at no additional cost with all Toll Free services. Provides view-only access to Toll Free numbers, pre-plans, and enables activation/deactivation of pre-plans.
  • Advanced Evolve Access: Optional for a monthly fee. Includes pre-plan activation and the ability to add, modify, activate, or delete routing features such as: Area Code Routing, 10 Digit Routing, Call Allocator, Day-of-Year Routing, Modify existing Toll Free features, Exchange Routing, Emergency Routing and Pre-plans, Time-of-Day Routing, Overflow Routing.

Browser Requirements

The following are the recommended requirements for web access to the TELUS Integrated Voice Services application:

Supported Browser

  • Google Chrome
  • Other browsers may work but are not recommended or supported.
  • Note: Microsoft Internet Explorer does not work with the application.

Internet Access

  • High-speed internet access is recommended.

TELUS Evolve Login and Getting Access

Logging into TELUS Evolve Voice Services

All users accessing TELUS Evolve will be presented with a login page to enter their unique login ID and password, provided by TELUS upon set-up. Logging in establishes user privileges within the system.

To log into the TELUS Evolve system, visit: https://evolve.telus.com

The login page features fields for username and password. Information is displayed below these fields. For access, contact the Long Distance Implementation Team (LDIT) if you do not already have access. Refer to the last page of this guide for contact information.

After entering a username and password, click "Log In". The system verifies credentials. Upon successful verification, the Evolve Customer Home Page appears.

Navigating within Evolve Web Access

The Evolve system is a web-based system accessed via a browser. Familiarity with the user interface parts is recommended.

Global Menu

The Global Menu is located at the top of every page and includes: Corporation, Long Distance, Toll Free, Hierarchy, Bulletin, Downloads. Links to Login and Home pages are also present.

  • Home: Navigates to the System Home page.
  • Corporation: Leads to the page for selecting the 'corporation to work with'.
  • Long Distance: Takes the user to Long Distance Orders for the selected corporation.
  • Toll Free: Leads to the Toll Free Orders List and the Toll Free Menu.
  • Hierarchy: Shows the organization's listing of user roles and Toll Free numbers.
  • Bulletin: Displays application-specific notifications, maintenance windows, or operational notices.
  • Downloads: Provides links to user guides and application-specific tools.
  • Login: Directs to the login page.

Toll Free Menu

After selecting a corporation, navigate to 'Toll Free' to access the Toll Free menu. This menu manages Orders, Services, Customer Terminating numbers, Emergency Plan Set, Bulk Preplan Activation, Customer Announcements, and Customer Defined Holidays.

  • Services: Lists all available Toll Free services.
  • Orders: Shows the history of all orders.
  • Customer Announcements: Lists available customer announcements.
  • Bulk Preplan Activation: Enables activation of Preplans for multiple Toll Free services simultaneously, improving response time in emergencies.
  • Customer Terminating Numbers: Lists all available terminating numbers.
  • Emergency Plan Set: Lists Preplans designated as Emergency Plans (one per Toll Free service).
  • Customer Defined Holiday: Lists days designated as "Customer Defined Holidays" alongside statutory holidays.
