TELUS TV Digital Box Quick Install Guide

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up your TELUS TV Digital Box.

Before You Start

You'll need:

• TV Digital Box
• HDMI Cable (Included)
• TV Digital Box Power Supply (Included)
• Television
• TV Manufacturer's Remote
• AAA Batteries
• Wi-Fi Network Name and Password
• Google Account Username and Password (Optional)
• Ethernet Cable (Optional)

Step 1: Connect the TV Digital Box to Your TV

Connect the TV Digital Box to your television using the provided HDMI cable. Ensure the HDMI cable is connected properly and the correct input is selected on your TV. If nothing is displayed on screen, check these connections.

Step 2: Connect the TV Digital Box Power Supply

Connect the power supply to the TV Digital Box and plug it into a power outlet.

Step 3: Turn On TV and Select Appropriate HDMI Input

Turn on your television and use your TV manufacturer's remote to select the HDMI input that the TV Digital Box is connected to.

NOTE: Take note of the HDMI input used.

Step 4: Follow the Steps On Screen

Once the TV Digital Box is powered on and connected, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup. This may include pairing your TELUS remote, selecting your Wi-Fi network, optimizing your internet connection, and signing into your Google account (optional).

TELUS Remote: Overview

The TELUS remote allows you to control your TV Digital Box and TV. Key buttons include:

• Power: Turns the TV Digital Box and TV on/off.
• Navigation: Up, Down, Left, Right, Select/Pause/Wake Up Digital Box, Back.
• Playback: Skip back, Skip forward, Record (where available).
• Apps Menu: Accesses the Apps menu.
• Google Assistant: Press and hold to activate Google Assistant.
• Volume: Adjusts TV volume up/down.
• Mute: Mutes TV audio.
• Channel: Changes channels up/down.
• Previous Channel: Returns to the previous channel.
• Options: Accesses additional options.

TV Digital Box: LED Reference Guide

The LED indicator on the TV Digital Box provides status information:

• Off: Deep standby.
• Solid: Network standby.
• Flashing: Wake up or factory reset.
• Flashing (1 blink): TELUS Remote code reception acknowledged.
• Flashing (4 seconds): Firmware update in progress.
• Flashing (2 quick blinks): Success.
• Flashing (6 quick blinks): Error.
• Flashing (3 quick blinks): Low battery.

TELUS Remote: LED Reference Guide

The LED indicator on the TELUS remote provides status information:

• Off: Power off.
• Flashing: Pairing.
• Solid: Google Assistant activated.
• Flashing: Firmware update in progress.
• Flashing (2 quick blinks): Success.
• Flashing (6 quick blinks): Error.
• Flashing (3 quick blinks): Low battery.

TV Digital Box: Troubleshooting

• Connection Issues: If you have issues connecting the TV Digital Box to your TELUS account, reboot it by unplugging the Power Supply cable from the back of the box and plugging it back in.
• Persistent Issues: If issues persist, reset the TV Digital Box to factory defaults and try again.
