7. General Operation
7.1 Standby/ON
When the Soundbar is first connected to the mains socket, it will be in Standby mode. Press the power button on the remote control to switch the Soundbar ON. Press the power button again to return the Soundbar to STANDBY mode. To switch the Soundbar OFF completely, disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
7.2 Automatic Power Off Function
The Soundbar automatically enters Standby mode after approximately 15 minutes of inactivity (no TV or external unit connection, no signal input, or volume too close to mute). To ensure complete power-off, remove the mains plug. It is recommended to turn off the Soundbar completely to save energy when not in use.
7.3 Select Modes
Press the input button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes: Aux, Bluetooth, OPTICAL, HDMI USB. The current mode will be displayed on the front of the Soundbar.

7.4 Adjust the Volume
Use the + / - (volume) buttons on the remote control to adjust the volume. Press the mute button to silence the audio; press it again or use the volume buttons to resume listening. The status LED indicator will flash quickly while adjusting volume and flash slowly three times when the maximum or minimum volume level is reached.
7.5 Select Equalizer (EQ) Effect
While playing audio, press the TREBLE, EQ, and TREBLE+ buttons on the remote control to select preset Equalizer effects.
8. OPTICAL / AUX / HDMI ARC Operation
Ensure the Soundbar is connected to your TV or audio device. Press the input button repeatedly to select OPTICAL, AUX, or HDMI ARC mode. The indicator light on the front of the Soundbar will show the currently active mode. For playback features, operate your audio device directly. Use the VOL -- / — buttons to adjust the volume. If the Soundbar mutes, it may be unable to decode the digital audio format from the source. Ensure the audio setting on your input source device (TV, game console, DVD player, etc.) is set to PCM for HDMI / OPTICAL / AUX inputs. Refer to your input source device's user manual for specific audio setting details.
9. Bluetooth Operation
To listen to music via Bluetooth:
First time pairing:
- Press the power button on the remote to select Bluetooth mode. The blue indicator will flash slowly.
- Activate Bluetooth on your device and initiate a search.
- Select "Elf R2" and enter "0000" if prompted for a password. A successful connection will be indicated by a solid blue light and an audio prompt.
Pairing a new device after first time pairing:
- In Bluetooth mode, press and hold the INPUT button to disconnect from the current device and enter pairing mode. You will hear an audio prompt, and the indicator will flash rapidly.
- Follow steps 2 and 3 from "First time pairing" to pair your new Bluetooth device.
Listen to Music from Bluetooth device:
- If your Bluetooth device supports A2DP, play music directly from it.
- If your Bluetooth device supports AVRCP, you can use the supplied remote control to manage playback (play, pause, skip tracks).
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust volume.
- Use the skip buttons (/) to navigate tracks.
Important Notes for Bluetooth:
- Maintain an open space without obstructions for optimal range (approx. 8 meters).
- Ensure your Bluetooth device's capabilities are known before connecting.
- Compatibility with all Bluetooth devices is not guaranteed.
- Obstacles and other electronic devices can interfere with the signal and reduce the operational range.
- The Soundbar may disconnect if your device moves beyond the operational range.
10. USB Operation
Connect a USB mass storage device (e.g., USB flash drive) to enjoy stored music. Ensure the USB transfer cable is inserted before connecting the USB device.
- Press the input button to select USB mode.
- Use the play/pause button to control playback.
- Use the skip buttons (/) to navigate tracks.
USB Compatibility Notes:
- The Soundbar supports MP3 music file format only.
- The Soundbar supports USB devices up to 32 GB.
- Compatibility with all USB devices is not guaranteed.
11. Troubleshooting
To maintain your warranty, do not attempt to repair the system yourself. Consult the following points before requesting service:

Sylvox offers a 12-month free warranty for repairs due to normal use as per the instruction manual. Sylvox warrants the product against defects in material and workmanship.
Warranty Policy Details:
- Returns: Items purchased directly from www.sylvoxtv.com or authorized resellers can be returned. Contact the original vendor with order ID and product issue details. Sylvox is responsible for return shipping costs for quality issues. A 20% restocking fee may apply for no-reason returns within 7 days of arrival, with the customer responsible for freight costs. Items must be returned in original condition with all documentation and accessories. Deductions will be made for damaged items or missing accessories.
- Refunds (30-day money-back guarantee): Contact the Sylvox team for an after-sales application and shipping label. Include original order number or proof of purchase. Refunds are processed after the item is received and verified. Refunds are typically issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
- What the warranty does not cover: Improper use, unauthorized repairs, damage from transportation or mishandling, external factors, liquid damage, lightning strikes, incorrect voltage, or altered/missing serial numbers. Products used for rental, business, or commercial purposes are also excluded, as are installation, setup, or programming charges. Signal reception issues, screen burn-in, interference, or third-party service availability are not covered.
No other entity is authorized to extend or transfer this warranty. Sylvox disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, except as prohibited by law. Some states may not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages.
