Overview

The Soundcore V20i earbuds and charging case have the following components:

• 1. Adjustable ear hook: For a secure fit.
• 2. Touch area: The surface on the earbuds for touch controls.
• 3. Adjustable LED light: Indicates status.
• 4. Charging contacts: Connects to the charging case to charge the earbuds.
• 5. Sound outlet: Where the audio is emitted.
• 6. USB-C charging port: For charging the charging case.
• 7. Charging case indicator: Shows the charging status of the case.

Powering On and Pairing

1. For first-time use, remove the insulating stickers from the earbuds.
2. Place the earbuds back into the charging case.
3. Remove the earbuds again. The earbuds will automatically turn on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

Select 'soundcore V20i' from your device's Bluetooth list to connect.

During pairing, the LED lights on both earbuds will flash blue. Once paired successfully, the LED lights on both earbuds will stay on for 1 second and then turn off.

Once connected, the earbuds will automatically reconnect to your device every time you open the charging case and take out the earbuds, provided you have not cleared the pairing history from your device.

Note: The earbuds will only turn on when removed from the case.

Manual Pairing

To manually activate Bluetooth pairing mode, remove both earbuds from the charging case, then simultaneously touch and hold the touch surfaces on both earbuds for 3 seconds. At this point, the earbuds will enter pairing mode.

Dual Connections

The Soundcore V20i supports connecting to two devices simultaneously.

Method 1: Using the soundcore App

In the soundcore app, tap the Settings icon (⚙️) located in the upper right corner of the app interface. Then select 'Dual Connections' > 'Enable Dual Connections' > 'Connect New Device'.

Method 2: Manually Pair with a Second Device

While wearing the earbuds, press and hold the touch area on both earbuds for 3 seconds until you hear a voice prompt indicating entry into pairing mode. You can then proceed to connect with the second device.

Note: The dual connection function is enabled by default.

Wearing

1. Take the earbuds and pull the ear hook fully to the right to position LV4 (maximum curvature).
2. Rotate the ear hooks along the ear cup to achieve proper positioning.
3. After wearing the earbuds, you can adjust the ear hooks back and forth through four levels (LV1-LV4) until you find the most comfortable fit.

Sound Effects

The soundcore app offers advanced control over your audio experience. The default sound effect is 'soundcore Signature', a preset recommended by the soundcore team. There are 22 EQ presets available for various scenarios. You can switch between these presets according to your preferences.

Additionally, you can create your own sound profile by adjusting the eight sliders on the 'Custom EQ' page.

Touch Controls

Customize the touch controls for your earbuds in the soundcore app. The following functions can be assigned to the touch controls on the left or right earbud: volume adjustment, changing tracks, playing/pausing music, activating the Voice Assistant, and turning Colorful Lights on/off.

• Play/Pause: Double-tap (R)
• Previous Track: Not customizable via app (default: L/R 2s hold)
• Next Track: Double-tap (L)
• Answer/End Call: Double-tap (L/R)
• Reject Call/End Call: Press and hold 2 seconds (L/R)
• Volume Up: *Customize in App
• Volume Down: *Customize in App
• Activate Voice Assistant: *Customize in App

Mono Mode Controls

• Play/Pause: Double-tap
• Previous Track: Not available
• Next Track: Not available
• Answer/End Call: Double-tap
• Reject Call/End Call: Press and hold 2 seconds
• Volume Up: *Customize in App
• Volume Down: *Customize in App
• Activate Voice Assistant: *Customize in App

* 'x2' denotes double-tap. '2s' denotes press and hold for 2 seconds.

Note: You can also customize controls in the soundcore app.

Charging

To charge the earbuds:

1. Adjust the ear hooks to position LV1, then place the earbuds into the charging case and close it. Ensure the earbuds and the USB-C charging port are completely dry before charging.
2. Connect the charging case to a power source using the included USB-C cable for charging.

Note: A full charge of the charging case battery takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Turning Off the Device

To turn off the earbuds, place both earbuds back into the charging case. Please ensure the ear hooks are returned to the LV1 positions to fit properly in the charging case.

Note: The earbuds will automatically turn off after 30 minutes if not connected. This duration can be adjusted in the soundcore app.

Reset

Reset the earbuds if they have trouble pairing with each other or with other devices.

1. Remove the earbuds from the charging case.
2. Simultaneously touch and hold the sensitive areas on both earbuds for 10 seconds until you hear a voice prompt. Your earbuds have now been successfully reset.

Checking Battery Level

When you place the earbuds back into the charging case, the indicator on the charging case will show the remaining battery level:

• If the battery level is from 0% to 45%, the indicator will flash three times and then turn off.
• If the battery level is from 46% to 100%, the indicator will light up for three seconds and then turn off.

Charging Case Indicator:

While charging, the indicator on the charging case will continue to blink. When charging is complete, the indicator will stay on continuously.

Colorful Lights on Earbuds

The colorful light effects on both earbuds need to be activated via the soundcore app. You can choose from four light effects: Light On, Breathing, Flash, and Music Follows. Tap 'More Settings' to customize the brightness, duration, colors, and patterns.

Firmware Update

You will be notified when a new firmware version is detected when you connect your earbuds to the app. Ensure the earbuds are out of the charging case until the firmware update is complete. Avoid any usage during the update process.
