Important Safety and Installation Information
Please note that the installation of this product is intended for adequately trained and experienced persons. Installation is undertaken at your own risk. If you are not properly trained or experienced, or feel unsure about the installation procedure, please refrain from installing the product yourself and contact EKWB tech support for assistance. EKWB disclaims liability for any damages to the product, including incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, incurred due to improper or inappropriate installation.
Before using this product, please follow these basic guidelines:
- Carefully read the manual before beginning the installation process.
- EK Fittings require only a small amount of force to screw them firmly in place, as the liquid seal is ensured by rubber O-ring gaskets.
- The use of quality, market-proven corrosion-inhibiting coolants is always strongly recommended for any liquid cooling system.
- Do not use pure distilled water as a cooling liquid. For best results, EKWB recommends the use of EK-CryoFuel Coolants.
EK-Quantum Surface Radiators: Overview
EK-Quantum Surface Radiators feature a classical U-shape coolant flow, with inlet and outlet ports located on the same side of the radiator. Users can choose which port serves as the inlet and which as the outlet within their custom loop.
Setup Configurations
Setup 1: Illustrates the first flow direction setup for an EK-Quantum Surface P360M Radiator, which is a multiport radiator. For non-multiport radiators, users can select one inlet and one outlet port from the available options.

Setup 2: Illustrates the second flow direction setup for an EK-Quantum Surface P360M Radiator, also a multiport radiator. Similar to non-multiport radiators, one inlet and one outlet port can be chosen.
Diagram Description: Similar to Setup 1, but the arrows show coolant flowing in the reverse direction between the two ports on the same side. This configuration is labeled "SETUP 2".
Important Recommendations and Features
- EKWB recommends using the same number of inlets and outlets for optimal performance.
- It is mandatory to use the provided extenders on any inlet and outlet position.
- If extenders are transferred from their stock position to another, ensure they are tightened to avoid leakage.
- The same port setup applies to all EK-Quantum Surface radiator variants.
Fill/Drain Port (Multiport Radiators)
On multiport radiators, there is an additional port located opposite the inlet/outlet side. This port is intended for filling or draining the loop.

Note: This fill/drain port should not be used as an inlet or an outlet port.
