Hamron Car Cover Operating Instructions
Please read the operating instructions carefully before use.
Operation
Covering
Unroll the cover over the entire car as shown below. Pay particular attention to the 'Front' marking, so that you start at the right end of the car. If the door mirrors can be folded, fold them in to avoid the risk of damage. Pull down the cover so that it covers the whole of the front of the car, and then the rear.
The cover should be approximately 45 cm wide when folded.
Maintenance
Cleaning
If the cover becomes dirty or dusty, it must be hand-washed and hung out to dry.
Hand-washing
Mix a solution comprising 7.5 litres of water and 350 grams of a general detergent. Wash soiled areas with a soft, clean brush. Rinse immediately with COLD water and allow the cover to air-dry.
Flushing
A simple way of removing dirt and dust is to flush off the cover while it is on the car. Turn the cover over on the car to remove dust from the underside of the cover. Allow the cover to air-dry.
Folding up
Fold up the cover in reverse order. Start by loosening the cover at the front, and then loosen the rear section. Lift up each side of the cover to the middle of the car's roof. Repeat this stage until the cover is approximately 45 cm wide (see figure). Start at the front and roll up the cover as tightly as possible so that it will fit in the storage bag.
IMPORTANT
Do not use the cover if your car has recently been painted. New paint must be allowed to dry for three months before using the cover on your car. Consult your workshop if you are uncertain about the paint's total hardening time.
