Product Description
The Infomodul enables the display of information, such as house numbers, and can be individually designed using Gira textservice (www.beschriftung.gira.de). The Blind module provides space for future applications, such as integration with a camera module, and serves as a design element for creating large door registers within the system design.
Module Mounting
ℹ️ The following steps are part of the mounting instructions for System 106 surface-mounted housing (1- to 5-button) or flush-mounted housing (1- to 5-button):
- Secure the module onto the function carrier.
- Attach the connection cable.
- Set the terminating resistors.
Terminating Resistors
From the 2-gang surface-mounted cover onwards, two terminating resistors are always included. The terminating resistors are always mounted on the first and the last module on the system cable.
Module Replacement
Assembly is done in reverse order.
Step 1: Attachment
Diagram 1: Shows a module being attached to a mounting bracket. A screwdriver is depicted turning a screw at the bottom of the module, with a circular arrow indicating rotation. A close-up inset shows the head of the screw.
Step 2: Detachment
Diagram 2: Illustrates detaching a module from its housing. An arrow points left, indicating the direction of removal. The module and the housing (with mounting points) are shown separated.
Step 3: Securing Mechanism
Diagram 3: Depicts the rear of a module and its mounting plate. A magnified view shows a locking mechanism being secured or released by a screwdriver. The label "4x" indicates that this action is performed at four points.
