Assembly Steps
Step 1: Assemble the Base
Insert the five legs into the central hub of the five-star base.
Step 2: Attach Gas Lift Cylinder
Attach the gas lift cylinder to the center of the assembled base. Secure it using four screws (part 122900) and four washers (part 100842).
Step 3: Insert Casters
Insert the five casters into the sockets at the end of each leg of the base.
Step 4: Place Seat Mechanism
Place the seat mechanism onto the top of the gas lift cylinder.
Step 5: Place Seat Cushion
Place the seat cushion onto the seat mechanism.
Step 6: Zip Seat Cover
Zip the seat cover closed.
Step 7: Attach Seat Cushion
Attach the seat cushion to the seat mechanism. A lever is used for this connection.
Step 8: Secure Mechanism to Gas Lift
Secure the seat mechanism to the gas lift cylinder using ten screws (part 123071) and ten washers (part 100842).
Step 9: Final Connection
Connect the seat mechanism to the gas lift. A "Click!" sound indicates a secure connection.
Step 10: Final Zip
Zip the seat cover closed.
Step 11: Completed Chair
The MULLFJÄLLET chair is now assembled.
Step 12: Adjusting Seat Height and Tilt
Use the lever under the seat to adjust the height (up/down) and to lock/unlock the tilt function. Use ⬆️/⬇️ for height adjustment and / for tilt lock/unlock.
Step 13: Adjusting Seat Height with Weight
To adjust the seat height, lift the lever. The diagram indicates that adding weight to the seat can help facilitate height adjustment.

Energy Accumulators
⚠️ Warning! Only trained personnel may replace or repair seat height adjustment components with energy accumulators.
Safety Castors
The chairs are equipped with safety castors that brake automatically when no one is sitting in the chair. This prevents the chair from rolling away when you stand up and ensures it stays where you leave it.
