Assembly Instructions

Parts List

1x Allen key (Part No. 124345)
4x Screws (Part No. 10131427)
3x Screws (Part No. 192493 / 117317)
5x Castors (Part No. 10049302 / 10049290)

Step 1: Attach Castors

Insert the 5 castors (Part No. 10049302 / 10049290) into the legs of the chair base. Push them in firmly until they are fully seated.

Step 2: Install Gas Lift Cylinder

Insert the gas lift cylinder into the center opening of the chair base. Ensure it is oriented correctly and push down firmly.

Step 3: Attach Seat Mechanism

Place the seat mechanism onto the underside of the seat. Use the Allen key (Part No. 124345) to secure it with 3 screws (Part No. 192493 / 117317).

Step 4: Connect Seat to Base

Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder. Press down firmly to secure the connection.

Step 5: Attach Armrests

Attach each armrest to the sides of the seat using 2 screws (Part No. 10131427) per armrest. Use the Allen key (Part No. 124345) for tightening.

Step 6: Install Lumbar Support Cover

Slide the lumbar support cover upwards into its designated position on the backrest. It should audibly click into place.

Chair Adjustments

Armrest Height Adjustment

To adjust the armrest height, locate the button underneath the armrest. Press this button and move the armrest [up/down] to your desired position.

Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, pull the lever located under the seat [up] while seated. To lower the seat, remain seated and pull the lever [up].

Backrest Tilt and Lock

To recline the backrest, pull the tilt lever [out]. To lock the backrest in a specific tilt position, push the tilt lever [in].

Seat Depth Adjustment

To adjust the seat depth, locate the lever and move it [forward] or [backward] to change the seat's position relative to the backrest.

Backrest Height Adjustment

To adjust the backrest height, use the lever to move it [up] to raise or [down] to lower the backrest.

Safety Castors Feature

The HATTEFJÄLL office chair is equipped with safety castors. These castors automatically brake when no one is sitting in the chair. This feature ensures the chair remains stationary when you stand up, preventing it from rolling away and guaranteeing it stays in the location where you left it.
