Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the iPega developed Tomahawk Bluetooth GamePad. This gamepad supports playing games on Bluetooth-enabled Android 3.2v+ tablets/smartphones/TV boxes/smart TVs/VR, and Windows 7/8/10 PCs without requiring any drivers. The LT and RT buttons feature simulator functionality for more precise control over operating details, making games easier to manage. It also supports the TURBO (acceleration) function for enhanced speed and power during gameplay. Multimedia player buttons for volume control and track selection can be used in mouse mode.

Note: iOS devices (iPhone/iPad) have authorization limitations; this gamepad is currently for Chinese users only.

Usage Instructions

Android Device Connection

Step 1: Press and hold the 'Android' button + [HOME] button for 2 seconds. Release when all 4 LED indicators flash quickly.

Step 2: Enable Bluetooth on your Android device and search for devices.

Step 3: Find and select 'PG-9068' for Bluetooth pairing. LED1 will light up after a successful connection.

Game Capability on Android

To play games, download simulator games from third-party apps. Visit www.xiaoji001.com (via your phone browser) to download the Android Game Center App, which offers a wide selection of popular games.

Alternatively, download gamepad-enabled games (similar to console games) from the Google Playstore. Some games may require button mapping via settings (e.g., ShadowGun). Recommended console games include Implosion, Dead Trigger, Dead Effect, CS Portable, Dungeon Hunter 4, Shadowgun: DeadZone, and SoulCraft - Action RPG.

For online games such as PUBG, Mobile Legends, or Rules of Survival downloaded from Google Playstore, you will need to download the Octopus driver for button mapping. Refer to the operation guide video on the iPega HK YouTube channel.

PC Connection (Wired)

A USB data cable is required for wired connection; the included USB cable is for charging only.

Step 1: Press the START button on the gamepad.

Step 2: Connect the PC's USB port to the gamepad using the data cable.

Windows 7 and above systems will automatically detect the gamepad in X-INPUT mode, indicated by a solid light. This mode supports the operation of the vast majority of classic large-scale PC games.

PC Connection (Bluetooth)

Step 1: Press and hold the 'Android+' button for 2 seconds until the LED flashes quickly.

Step 2: If your PC has Bluetooth functionality, proceed to Step 4.

Step 3: Insert a Bluetooth 4.0 receiver (sold separately) into the PC's USB interface. The Windows system will automatically install the driver.

Step 4: Move the mouse to the Bluetooth symbol in the system tray (lower right corner), right-click, and select 'Add Device'.

Step 5: In the dialog box, search for the device model 'PG-9068' and click 'Next'.

Step 6: Select 'Do not use the code to match' for automatic pairing. A success message will appear, confirming the Bluetooth connection.

The indicator light will remain solid upon successful connection. This establishes D_INPUT mode, which supports games running in a simulator format.

Gamepad Functions

Charging, Sleep, and Wake Up

• Charging (Not Connected): All 4 LED indicator lights blink slowly. They turn off once fully charged.
• Charging (Connected): The current mode indicator blinks slowly and turns solid when fully charged.
• Sleep/Wake Up: The gamepad enters sleep mode if not used for 5 minutes. Press any button to wake it up and reconnect automatically.
• Low Battery: The current mode indicator flashes quickly to remind you of low battery.

Turbo Function

• Enabling: First, press the key that needs the turbo function (e.g., 'A' key), then press and hold the 'Turbo' key. The selected key will now be enabled with Turbo function.
• Disabling: First, press the key that has been set up with the Turbo function (e.g., 'A' key), then press and hold the 'Turbo' key. The Turbo function for that key will be disabled.

Multimedia Function

This function operates only in mouse mode.

When connected in HID mode, you can toggle to mouse mode (LED2 will be on) by briefly pressing the [HOME] key. In mouse mode:

• Y key: Volume +
• A key: Volume -
• X key: Previous song
• B key: Next song
• L2/R2 keys: Play / Pause
• L1 key: Left mouse click
• R1 key: Right mouse click

• Non-professional personnel should not disassemble the product, as doing so will void the after-sales warranty service.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: I opened Bluetooth searching, but still cannot pair it with my device?

A1: Please turn off and ignore the previous connected device. Then reopen Bluetooth for connection. If you still cannot connect, use a needle to press the RESET button on the back of the Gamepad for 5 seconds. Then reconnect the Bluetooth.

Q2: I cannot turn on the Gamepad.

A2: Please recharge the Gamepad before using it for the first time or after a long period of disuse. Check if the charge indicator light turns on while charging and turns off once fully charged. If the charge indicator does not light up when the charge cable is connected to a power source, try changing the USB charging cable or press the RESET button on the back of the Gamepad for 5 seconds.

Q3: Joystick is moving by itself or other buttons work improperly when entered the game.

A3: Use a needle to press the RESET button on the back of the Gamepad for 5 seconds. Please be reminded not to touch wrong buttons while Bluetooth pairing.
