1 Important Safety Instructions
Hearing Safety: Limit usage time at high volumes to prevent hearing damage. Set a safe volume level. The louder the sound, the less time you can listen safely.
Follow these recommendations:
- Listen for reasonable periods at reasonable volumes.
- Do not continuously increase volume; allow your hearing to adapt gradually.
- Do not turn up the volume so high that you cannot hear surrounding sounds.
- Be cautious or stop using if you are in potentially hazardous situations.
- Pressure from headphones/headsets may cause hearing loss.
- Avoid covering ears completely with headphones while driving, and be aware of local restrictions.
- Do not let music or phone calls distract you when walking or in other hazardous situations.
General Information - To prevent damage or malfunctions:
- Do not expose headphones to excessive heat.
- Do not drop headphones.
- Avoid liquid splashing or dripping onto headphones.
- Do not immerse headphones in water.
- Do not charge if the connector or socket is wet.
- Do not use cleaners containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasives.
- Clean headphones regularly, especially sound outlets and microphone openings, with a soft, damp cloth. Prevent accumulation of earwax or dirt.
- If ear canals, air vents, or microphone openings have sweat or water, sound may temporarily decrease or be lost. This is not a malfunction. Dry the headphones thoroughly with a soft, damp cloth. Remove ear tips, point sound outlets downwards, and tap the headphones gently against a dry cloth 5 times to remove any water.
- Ensure headphones are completely dry before charging and use. Do not use alcohol wipes for cleaning.
- Do not expose the built-in battery to heat sources like sunlight or fire.
- Risk of explosion if battery is inserted incorrectly. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
- Keep the charging port cover closed to maintain the ingress protection rating.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire or hot ovens, or crush or cut batteries, as this may cause an explosion.
- Leaving batteries in an environment with extremely high temperature may result in explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- Batteries subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- If a battery is replaced with an incorrect type, it may compromise a safeguard (e.g., in the case of some types of lithium batteries).
- If the headphones are not used for a long time, the rechargeable battery will gradually lose its capacity. To prevent this, charge the battery fully at least once every three months.
- For safety, the equipment should only be powered from a PS1 certified power source with an output not exceeding 15W.
Temperature and humidity for use and storage:
- Store in an environment with temperatures between -20°C and 50°C, and relative humidity up to 90%.
- Use in an environment with temperatures between 0°C and 45°C, and relative humidity up to 90%.
- Battery life may be shortened in extremely high or low temperatures.
