Getting Started

Charging the battery

Charging Case

Connect one end of the USB-C cable to the charging case and the other end to a power source.

Tip: The charging case acts as a portable power bank to charge the headphones. When the charging case is fully charged, it can fully charge the headphones 3 times.

Tip: A full charge (for headphones or charging case) with a USB cable normally takes 2 hours.

The headphones

Remove the isolation films from the headphones and place them back into the charging case.

Close the charging case lid, and the charging case will start charging the headphones.

Note: For optimum battery capacity and lifespan, place your headphones in the charging case and charge them for 2 hours before first use.

Only use the original USB-C charging cable to prevent any damage.

If the headphones are not used for a long time, the rechargeable battery will start to lose its charge. To prevent this loss, please charge the battery fully at least once every three months.

Pairing Your Headphones with a Bluetooth Device for the First Time

  1. Ensure the headphones are fully charged and turned off.
  2. Open the charging case lid, and the headphones will be in pairing mode and ready to connect. The LEDs on both headphones will flash alternately white and blue. The headphones enter pairing mode and are ready to pair with a Bluetooth device (e.g., a mobile phone).
  3. Turn on the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth-enabled device.
  4. Pair the headphones with your Bluetooth device, refer to your Bluetooth device's user manual.

Note: After turning them on, if the headphones cannot find any previously connected Bluetooth device, put them in pairing mode (press the button on the case for 3 seconds with both headphones inside and the lid open).

The headphones will turn off automatically if the Bluetooth connection is inactive for 3 minutes. Actual time may vary depending on usage conditions.

Example of Pairing Your Headphones with a Bluetooth Device

  1. On your Bluetooth-enabled device, turn on Bluetooth and select Philips TAT6000.
  2. If prompted, enter the passcode for the headphones: "0000" (four zeros). Passcode entry is not required for devices with Bluetooth 3.0 or higher.

Note: On Android devices, the user must accept the pop-up message to synchronize the time between the smartphone and the touchscreen charging case.

Single Earbud (Mono Mode)

For mono use, remove either the right or left earbud from the charging case. The earbud will turn on automatically.

Note: When you remove the second earbud from the charging case, they will automatically pair with each other.

Pairing Your Headphones with Another Bluetooth Device

If you want to pair the headphones with another Bluetooth device, put the headphones in pairing mode (press the button on the case for 3 seconds with both headphones inside and the lid open), then find the second device as you would during normal pairing.

Note: The headphones store up to 4 devices in memory. If you try to pair more than 4 devices, the oldest paired device will be replaced.

Multipoint Connection

Pairing

Pair the headphones with 2 devices, e.g., a mobile phone and a laptop.

Switching Between Devices

Note: While audio is streaming from Device 1, if a call is received from Device 2, Device 1 will automatically pause playback. The call will then be automatically routed to the headphones.

Once the call ends, playback will automatically resume from Device 1.

Connecting Your Headphones to a Bluetooth Device

  1. Turn on the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth-enabled device.
  2. Open the charging case lid.
