2-Way Video Monitor Model 1502B
Installation Instructions
Introduction
The 1502B 2-Way Video Monitor is designed to augment 1500 Series customer stations with 2-way video capability. This monitor is installed in the field and is compatible with both the 1500A and 1500B counter station models.
Mounting
- First, connect the video cable to the video port on the counter station.
- Next, insert the two mounting screws into the rear of the monitor and hand tighten them.
- The 1502B features a third mounting screw located on the bottom. This screw is exclusively for use with 1500B counter stations. Do not attempt to drill a hole in a 1500A model to accommodate this screw.
Visual Description: The monitor stand is shown with labels indicating "REAR MOUNTING SCREWS" and "BOTTOM MOUNTING SCREW". A close-up view details the base of the monitor, showing ports labeled "POWER", "HEAD SET", and "HUB". A screw is being tightened into the base, with accompanying text "BOTTOM MOUNTING SCREW (1500B ONLY)" and "HAND TIGHTEN REAR SCREWS". Another image depicts the monitor at its maximum height, labeled "MODEL 1502B AT MAX HEIGHT POSITION", and indicates a "LOW POSITION" is achievable.
Digital Camera Tilt
The indoor camera view can be adjusted digitally, either up or down. This feature controls the visual perspective presented to the customer. To adjust the camera tilt, press the 'Mirror' key, followed by the 'Camera Up/Down' function.
Monitor Tilt Control
The monitor's tilt angle can be adjusted manually by hand. If the monitor does not maintain its set position, a hex wrench should be used to tighten the mount. The specific tightening point is indicated in accompanying visual aids.
Visual Description: A label points to a "TILT SCREW" on the monitor's adjustment mechanism, suggesting where to tighten if the monitor does not hold its position.
Monitor Height Position
The monitor's height can be adjusted to a lower position. To achieve this, remove the four screws located on the rear of the monitor and then reposition the mounting bracket.
