Shokz App

Download the Shokz App to manage multipoint pairing, upgrade firmware, change EQ modes, and more. Easily control your headphone settings. Available on the App Store and Google Play. (*Availability may be for limited regions. More information at userguide.shokz.net/openrunpro).

Headphone Controls

The headphones feature a [magnetic charging port] and an [LED indicator]. Controls include a [Power/Volume + Button] and a [Volume - Button]. A separate [Multifunction Button] is also present.

ON/OFF

Turn On: Press and hold the [Power/Volume + Button] until the [LED indicator] flashes blue. You will hear "Welcome to Shokz."

Turn Off: Press and hold the [Power/Volume + Button] until the [LED indicator] flashes red. You will hear "Power off."

Pairing

1. Ensure OpenRun Pro is turned off.
2. Press and hold the [Volume + Button] until the [LED indicator] flashes red and blue alternately.
3. Open your device's Bluetooth settings and select "OpenRun Pro by Shokz." You will hear "connected."

How to Wear

Pick up the headphones, bring them behind the base of your neck, position the earhooks on your ears, and enjoy your music! Ensure transducers rest in front of your ears for comfort.

Volume

Operate volume controls while audio is playing.

How to change volume: While audio is playing, adjust volume by pressing the [Volume + Button] or [Volume - Button]. A "beep" indicates maximum volume.

⚠️ Warning: Listening at high volume may affect hearing and distort audio.

Multifunction Button

*Call handling features are applicable for phone calls, not online calls.

Check Battery Status

Operate controls while audio is not playing.

How to check battery status: Click the [Volume + Button] or [Volume - Button] while music is paused. Audrey will announce the battery status (e.g., "Battery high," "Battery medium," "Battery low," "Charge me").

EQ Modes

• Standard Mode: Balanced frequency for listening to music. (Icon description: ? with sound waves)
• Vocal Booster Mode: Enhanced intermediate frequencies for audiobooks, podcasts, etc. (Icon description: ?️ with sound waves)

Switching EQ Modes

Operate controls while music is playing.

How to switch EQ mode: Press and hold both the [Power/Volume + Button] and [Volume - Button] while music is playing until you hear a beep. Audrey will announce the selected mode ("Standard Mode" or "Vocal Booster Mode"). Alternatively, use the Shokz App.

Multipoint Pairing

Pair two devices and switch between them seamlessly.

Pairing Process:

1. Start with headphones powered off.
2. Press and hold the [Volume + Button] until Audrey says "pairing" and the [LED indicator] flashes red and blue alternately. (You can also use the Shokz App).
3. First Device: Press and hold the [multifunction button] and [Volume + Button] until Audrey says "multipoint enabled." Open your first device's Bluetooth menu and select "OpenRun Pro by Shokz." Audrey will say "connected." Turn headphones off.
4. Second Device: Re-enter pairing mode by pressing and holding the [Volume + Button] until Audrey says "pairing" and the [LED indicator] flashes red and blue alternately. Open your second device's Bluetooth menu and select "OpenRun Pro by Shokz." Audrey will say "connected." Turn headphones off.
5. Turn headphones on. You will hear a beep, then Audrey will say "Welcome to Shokz, connected. Second device connected." Your headphones are now connected to both devices.

Turn Multipoint Pairing Off

1. Start with headphones powered off.
2. Press and hold the [Volume + Button] until Audrey says "pairing" and the [LED indicator] flashes red and blue alternately. (You can also use the Shokz App).
3. Press and hold the [multifunction button] and [Volume - Button] until Audrey says "multipoint disabled."

Changing Languages

Your headphones have four built-in languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean.

1. Start with headphones powered off.
2. Press and hold the [Volume + Button] until Audrey says "pairing" and the [LED indicator] flashes red and blue alternately. (You can also use the Shokz App).
3. Double-press the [multifunction button]. Languages will switch, and you will hear the corresponding language.

Charging Tips

The headset automatically shuts down when charging.

When the headphones are low on battery, a "charge me" prompt will be given, and the red light will flash intermittently. Use the magnetic charging cable.

The [LED indicator] turns red during charging and the headphones turn off. The [LED indicator] turns from red to blue when charging is complete.

Moisture Detection Alert

These headphones can detect liquid (water, sweat, rain). If plugged into the charger while wet, the [LED indicator] flashes red and blue, and the headphones emit a beep. Remove the charging cable, dry them completely, then proceed with charging.

Storage and Maintenance

• Store in a cool, dry place. Recommended working temperature: 0-45°C (32-113°F). Avoid extreme temperatures, high humidity, or low air pressure, as this may reduce battery life.
• Keep away from heat sources, direct sunlight, combustible gas, or liquids.
• Ensure the charging port is dry before connecting the charger to prevent damage.
• The headphones are water-resistant, not waterproof. Do not submerge them in water.
• Clean with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid charging immediately after exercise if sweat is present in the charging port, as this could cause circuit burning.
• If stored for a long period, charge the headphones before use.
