Product Introduction
The HW706 transmits real-time heart rate data through Bluetooth or ANT+ to receiving devices, such as sports watches and bike computers. It helps you manage your exercise intensity in a scientific approach. This user manual is for you to understand how to use this product; please keep it for future reference.
Note: This product is for sports purposes only and is not meant to replace any medical device.
Function and Operation
Power On
Press the on/off button. The LED blue light flashes quickly, indicating the monitor is acquiring heart rate data. As the heart rate is detected, the light will flash slowly.
Front View: The device features an On/Off Indicator Light LED and a Start-up Button.
Power Off
Press the on/off button when the device is not in use. The LED red light flashes quickly, and then the device shuts down.
Power / Charging
Low Battery: When you press the on/off button, if the LED red light is on, it indicates that the battery is low and needs to be charged.
Charging Process: The product uses magnetic charging. During charging, the RED and GREEN LEDs flash alternately. After it is fully charged, the GREEN LED will be on, and you can stop charging.
Charging Terminals: Located on the Heart Rate Monitor.
Wearing
Remove the protective sticker from the charging terminals before first use.
Wear the armband on the upper portion of the forearm. The monitor should be positioned on the inside or top of the forearm. It should be worn snug enough not to move on your arm, but not so tight that it restricts arm circulation.
Wearing Position: Illustration shows the correct placement on the forearm.
Initial Setup with Bluetooth Smart Fitness Apps
- Turn on Bluetooth in your phone's settings.
- Wear the Monitor correctly and press the start button.
Note: Do not search and add devices via your phone's Bluetooth settings. Please add the heart rate monitor within the specific fitness app.
Connection with ANT+ Sports Devices
(e.g., Sports Watches, Bike Computers...)
- Add the heart rate monitor to the ANT+ device's add list to find and connect this product.
- Start training according to the reminder on the watch or other devices, and check your real-time heart rate on the display screen.
The Bluetooth 4.0 and ANT+ features of this product can work simultaneously. If you need to connect to a phone and ANT+ devices at the same time, please confirm that the device you are connecting is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 or ANT+.
