Product Introduction

The COOSPO H6 Heart Rate Monitor captures real-time heart rate data using Bluetooth and ANT+ technology. It is designed to pair with training applications, GPS watches, and bike computers. This user manual provides guidance for optimal product use.

Note: This product is intended for sports and fitness tracking purposes only and is not a substitute for medical devices.

Function and Operation

Wearing the Heart Rate Monitor

1. Moisten the electrode areas on the chest strap to ensure good conductivity.
2. Attach the heart rate monitor connector module to the chest strap, aligning the 'L' marking towards the left side of your body. [Left/Right indicator]
3. Adjust the strap length to achieve a snug yet comfortable fit. Verify that the moistened electrode areas are in firm contact with your skin and that the COOSPO logo on the connector is positioned centrally and upright.

Connecting to the App

To connect with a smartphone app:

1. Navigate to your smartphone's Settings and toggle Bluetooth to the ON position. [Smartphone icon with Bluetooth symbol]
2. Do not search for or pair the device directly from the phone's Bluetooth settings. Instead, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and then open your chosen fitness application.

Connecting to an ANT+ Watch

1. Ensure the heart rate monitor is worn correctly as described in the "Wearing the Heart Rate Monitor" section.
2. On your ANT+ compatible watch, navigate to the device list or pairing menu and search for new sensors. Find and add the H6 to your watch's device list.
3. Once paired, start your training session as prompted by the watch. Your real-time heart rate will be displayed on the watch screen.

The H6 supports simultaneous or separate wireless connections via both ANT+ and Bluetooth, allowing compatibility with multiple devices like smartphones and GPS units.

Maintenance

The COOSPO H6 is a sophisticated instrument that requires careful handling. Adhering to the following care instructions will help ensure accurate measurements and prolong the lifespan of your heart rate monitor.

Heart Rate Connector Care

1. After each use, detach the connector module from the chest strap. Gently dry the connector with a soft, clean towel. Avoid using any cleaning chemicals.

Chest Strap Care

1. Rinse the chest strap under running water after each use to remove sweat and residue. Hang the strap to air dry.
2. Prohibited: Cleaning the strap in a washing machine or tumble dryer is strictly forbidden.

Important Usage and Storage Notes:

• Never use cleaning chemicals on any part of the heart rate monitor, as they can degrade the strap material and reduce its service life.
• Avoid stretching the strap excessively or bending the electrode areas sharply.
• To prevent premature oxidation, do not store the heart rate monitor module while it is still wet, especially in non-breathable materials. Ensure both the strap and the connector are dried thoroughly before storage.

Battery Replacement

1. To open the battery compartment, insert a coin into the slot on the battery cover and twist it counter-clockwise until it releases. [Coin slot with counter-clockwise arrow]
2. Carefully remove the old battery. Dispose of used batteries responsibly in accordance with local environmental regulations. [Battery symbol] [Recycling symbol]
3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing upwards. [Positive terminal indicator]
4. Replace the battery cover and secure it by twisting it clockwise with a coin until it clicks into place. [Coin slot with clockwise arrow]

Caution: Batteries are small items and should be kept out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
