ACID PRO Bicycle Light Set - Mounting, Operation, and Safety Guide
General Information and Safety
Read and Keep the Manual: This document contains important information regarding the assembly, initial operation, and maintenance of the ACID PRO bicycle light set. Please read all enclosed instructions carefully, especially the general safety instructions, before assembling or using the product. Failure to adhere to these instructions may result in serious injury or damage to the product and your vehicle. Keep these instructions readily accessible for future reference. When transferring the product or a vehicle equipped with it to a third party, ensure all accompanying instructions are included.
The enclosed instructions are subject to European legislation. If the product or vehicle is delivered outside Europe, the manufacturer/importer may need to provide additional instructions.
Explanation of Symbols: The following symbols and signal words are used throughout these instructions:
- [WARNING!]: Indicates a hazard with a medium risk of harm, which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
- [CAUTION!]: Indicates a hazard with a low risk of harm, which, if not avoided, may result in moderate or minor injury.
- [NOTICE!]: Warns of potential damage to property.
- [i]: Useful additional information for assembly or operation.
Intended Use: This product is exclusively intended for mounting on approved vehicles. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for retrofitting this product. If unsure, consult your dealer. This product is approved as bicycle lighting according to the currently valid German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO). Use the product only as described in this manual. Any other use is considered improper and may lead to accidents, serious injury, or vehicle damage. The product is not a toy for children. The manufacturer or dealer accepts no liability for damage caused by incorrect mounting or improper use.
Mounting the Lights
Front Light - Handlebar Mounting
The front light is mounted on the handlebar using the included silicone strap. Ensure the strap is securely fastened around the handlebar and the light.

The rear light is mounted on the seat post using the included silicone strap. Ensure the strap is securely fastened around the seat post and the light.

Reflector Mounting (StVZO Compliance)
To comply with StVZO regulations, the bicycle must be equipped with at least one forward-facing white reflector (Category 'K') and at least one rearward-facing red, non-triangular reflector (Category 'Z'). The product package includes these reflectors.

Product Operation
Front Light Operation
- To turn ON: Press and hold the button once.
- To change intensity/mode: Press the button once. The light has two intensity levels.
- To turn OFF: Press and hold the button once.

- To turn ON: Press and hold the button once.
- To turn OFF: Press and hold the button once.

Battery Indicator
The battery status is indicated by LED lights:

When the battery indicator shows red, the light must be recharged. If the battery is completely empty, the light will switch off. Check the battery level before each ride to avoid deep discharge.
Product Setting & Regulations
Front Light - Correct Setting
IMPORTANT! Adjust the light cone of the spotlight so that the center of the light cone at a distance of 5 meters is half as high as the spotlight itself.

Mounting Height (StVZO)
Front Light: Permissible mounting height (StVZO): min. 400mm, max. 1200mm above the road surface.

Rear Light: Permissible mounting height (StVZO): min. 250mm, max. 1200mm above the road surface. The reference axis must be parallel to the vehicle's longitudinal center plane and parallel to the road.

An energy output via the integrated USB interface is not possible.
Recharging
Recharge the lights using a USB-C charging cable connected to a USB port or a USB power adapter (input 5V, max. 500mA). The battery is fully charged when all LEDs light up continuously in blue. Ensure the USB protection cap is properly closed after charging.

Safety Instructions
Assembly Safety
CUBE strongly recommends having this product assembled by a qualified dealer.
- Electrical connections must be done professionally. Consult your dealer.
- Before assembly, check the completeness of the product's delivery contents.
- Before assembly, inspect all components of the product and vehicle for damage, sharp edges, or burrs. Do not use if any issues are found.
- Have the product and vehicle checked by your dealer.
- Use only parts and accessories intended for or included with the product. Components from other manufacturers may affect optimal function.
- When combining with other manufacturers' vehicles, check their specifications and compatibility.
- Screw connections must be tightened correctly with a torque wrench and correct torque values. If inexperienced, have connections checked by a dealer. Note special torques for aluminum or carbon fiber components.
Operation Safety
Accessories can significantly influence vehicle characteristics.
- Lighting equipment must be mounted correctly, securely, and be permanently ready for operation. They must not be concealed.
- Before every ride, ensure a secure and sturdy connection of the light to its mounting bracket and the bracket to the bicycle.
- Never point the light beam into your own or others' eyes.
- If unsure or have questions, contact your dealer.
- These instructions cannot cover every possible combination of the product with all vehicle models.
Maintenance Safety
Prevent malfunctions due to wear, material fatigue, or loose connections:
- Regularly check the product and your vehicle.
- Do not use if excessive wear or loose screw connections are found.
- Do not use if cracks, deformation, or color changes are observed.
- Have the vehicle inspected immediately by your dealer if any of the above issues are found.
- LEDs are not interchangeable. If an LED fails, the entire light must be replaced.
Cleaning and Care
[NOTICE!] Risk of damage! Improper handling of cleaning agents can damage the product.
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles, or sharp/metallic cleaning objects (knives, hard spatulas). These can damage surfaces.
- Never use high-pressure cleaners, high air pressure, or liquids containing alcohol for cleaning.
- Clean the product regularly with a damp, soft cleaning cloth, possibly with a mild detergent.
Storage
All parts must be completely dry before storage.
- Always store the product in a dry place.
- Protect the product from direct sunlight.
Disposal
Dispose of packaging according to its type (cardboard to paper recycling, films/plastics to recyclables). The product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. It must be taken to an electronic waste collection point. Contact your local municipality for disposal information.
Liability for Material Defects
If defects occur, contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product. Present proof of purchase and inspection for smooth complaint processing. Keep these documents safe. For a long service life, use the product only for its intended purpose and observe your vehicle's operating instructions, mounting instructions (especially torques), and prescribed maintenance intervals.
