Mounting Instructions

Important! Usage without K-reflector does not comply with the StVZO.

Mounting Reflector

Attach the K-Reflector (item 2) to the light body using Screw M2.5 x 6 mm (item 2.1). Tighten to 0.5 Nm.

Mounting FPILink Universal

Step 1:

Attach the FPILink Faceplate (item 4) to the light body using Screw M4 x 5 mm (item 4.2). Tighten to 1 Nm. Also attach the K-Reflector (item 2).

Step 2:

Attach the Universal Holder (item 3) to the light body using Screw M4 x 10 mm (item 3.1) and Spacer (item 3.2).

Mounting Options

Original Mounting Position

The light is mounted in its original position.

Option 1: Handlebar Mount

Mount the light using the Universal Holder (item 3) and Spacer (item 3.2) on the handlebar. This typically involves a 90-degree orientation for the holder.

Option 2: FPILink Mount (90°)

Mount the light using the FPILink Adapter Universal (item 4) on the handlebar, rotated 90 degrees.

Option 3: FPILink Mount (180°)

Mount the light using the FPILink Adapter Universal (item 4) on the handlebar, rotated 180 degrees.

Product Setting

Preset: Downward Installation

Install the light with a 2.5-degree downward tilt.

Correct Setting: Light Beam Adjustment

Important! Adjust the light cone of the spotlight so that the center of the light cone at 5 meters is half as high as the spotlight itself. The height at 5 meters should be between 400mm and 1200mm.

Connection to Power Supply

The light is switched on and off using the control unit of the power source.

Compatible Systems:

The connection is made via the X-Connect system, indicated by a "Click!" sound.

Product Safety Warnings

WARNING! Heat generation: The housing can get hot during usage. Ensure a safe distance from combustible or flammable materials at all times. Quiescent operation (without cooling via airflow) is possible at any time and will not damage the product. When the light is used stationary, the built-in heat management system will automatically reduce the power if the housing gets too hot.

Safety Instructions for Assembly

CUBE strongly recommends professional assembly by a dealer. Electrical connection must be done professionally. Check scope of delivery for completeness. Check all components and the vehicle for damage, sharp edges, or burrs before assembly. Do not use if incomplete or damaged. Have the product and vehicle checked by a dealer. Use only intended/included parts and accessories; components from other manufacturers may affect function. For combinations with other manufacturers' vehicles, check their specifications and compatibility. Screw connections must be tightened correctly with a torque wrench and correct values. If inexperienced with torque wrenches, have loose connections checked by a dealer. Note special torques for aluminum or carbon fiber components; consult vehicle manual.

Safety Instructions for Operation

Accessories can significantly influence vehicle characteristics. Lighting equipment must be mounted correctly, fixed, and ready for operation; not concealed. Prior to every ride, check secure connection of light to mounting bracket and bracket to bicycle. Never point the light beam into eyes. Contact your dealer if unsure or have questions. Instructions cannot cover all product/vehicle combinations.

Safety Instructions for Maintenance

Prevent malfunctions due to wear, fatigue, or loose connections: Check product and vehicle regularly. Do not use if excessive wear or loose connections are found. Do not use if cracks, deformation, or color changes are noticed. Have vehicle inspected immediately by dealer if such issues are found. LEDs are not interchangeable; replace the entire light if an LED fails.

Cleaning and Care

Storage

All parts must be completely dry before storage. Always store the product in a dry place. Protect from direct sunlight.

Disposal

Dispose of packaging sorted by type (cardboard to paper, films/plastics to recyclables). The product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Dispose of only at an electronic waste collection point. Contact your local municipality for disposal information.

Liability for Material Defects

If defects occur, contact the dealer where the product was purchased. Present proof of purchase and inspection for smooth processing. Keep these safe. For long service life and durability, use only according to intended purpose. Observe vehicle operating instructions. Installation instructions (especially screw torques) and prescribed maintenance intervals must be observed.
