INSTRUCTIONS
Sash Pulley
This section provides instructions for installing the Belmont sash pulley.
Included Components
- Pulley body x1: A circular metal component with a groove for a rope and mounting holes.
- Crosshead wood screw x2: Two screws with cross-shaped heads for wood.
- Face plate x1: A rectangular metal plate with screw holes and a central opening.
- Flathead face plate screw x2: Two screws with flat, slotted heads for attaching the face plate.
Tools You'll Need
- Router or chisel: For creating cavities in the wood.
- Drill: A power drill for making holes.
- 2mm drill bit: For pilot holes.
- Crosshead screwdriver (PZ2): For driving crosshead screws.
- Flathead screwdriver (6.5mm): For driving flathead screws.
Installation Steps
Use the face plate to mark the pulley position on the window frame with a pencil.

Find the centre point and mark out a H67mm x W22mm rectangle on the frame.

Use these markings to make a 40mm deep cavity in the frame. This will house the pulley body.

Push the pulley body into the cavity and mark all four holes with a pencil.

Drill pilot holes on the two inner markings, closest to the cavity.

Line the face plate up so the outermost markings are visible through the holes in the face plate.

Draw a line around the edge of the face plate.

Using this as a template, create a 4mm recess in the frame.

Use the wood screws provided to install the pulley.

Use the front plate screws to install the face plate.

Sash Stop
This section provides instructions for installing the Belmont sash stop.
Included Components
- Belmont sash stop x2: Two cylindrical components for stopping window sash movement.
- Threaded insert x2: Two metal cylinders with internal threads to receive screws.
- Hex key x1: An L-shaped tool for tightening threaded inserts and sash stops.
Tools You'll Need
- Drill: A power drill for making holes.
- 2mm drill bit: For pilot holes.
- 10mm drill bit: For creating the main hole for the threaded insert.
Installation Steps
Mark the position of the stop on the window.

Where marked, drill a pilot hole. Use this to drill a 10mm hole, 13mm deep. This will be for the threaded insert.

Install the threaded insert using the 6mm hex key provided.

Use the hex key provided to install the stop to the window.
