Tools Required for Installation
Safety Notice: Prior to drilling into walls, check there are no hidden electrical wires, cables, or water supply pipes. Always wear protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection whilst using power tools.
Recommended tools include:
- Drill (with Ø2mm, Ø6mm drill bits)
- Measuring tape (0.8-1.2m)
- Spirit level
- Screwdriver
- Hammer
Installation Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Wall and Base
Consult the size chart for your specific model (e.g., for CARSLCH1000, L=1000mm, A=950-990mm). Secure the wall profiles (03, 17) to the wall using screws (01) and wall plugs (02), ensuring they are level. Attach the bottom rail profile (12) to the floor or shower tray using screws (05) and wall plugs (02).
Step 2: Attach Rollers to Glass Panels
Fix the roller assemblies (06) and bottom roller assemblies (11) to the main door panel (08) and fixed panel (15) using screws (05). Ensure the rollers are oriented correctly for smooth operation.
Step 3: Mount the Door Panels
Hang the main door panel (08) onto the top rail (04) by engaging the top rollers. Connect the bottom rollers (11) to the bottom rail (12). If applicable, attach the fixed panel (15) to the wall profile.
Step 4: Install Seals and Handle
Slide the vertical seals (07, 16) into the edges of the glass panels. Attach the handle (09) to the main door panel (08) using the provided fixings.
Step 5: Roller Adjustment
Adjust the height of the top rollers using the adjustment screw (refer to diagrams for location) to ensure the door hangs straight and slides smoothly. Ensure smooth operation.
Step 6: Final Assembly and Securing
Complete the assembly by securing all components. Verify the door slides correctly and all seals are properly fitted. Confirm the entire enclosure is stable and secure.
Care Instructions
Do not use your shower enclosure within 24 hours of assembly. Do not use caustic cleaning products or abrasive material when cleaning your shower enclosure.
Cleaning: All parts of the product shall be cleaned with a cloth soaked in neutral detergent soapy water. Please do not use sharp tools such as blades to clean the shower door. If a stain is serious, a low concentration of vinegar can be used, but must be rinsed with clean water afterwards. Do not use strong detergent, alcohol, or any abrasive cleaning substances.
