Product Information
The light source in this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches the end of its lifespan, the entire luminaire must be replaced.
Installation Instructions
Step 1: Mount the Lamp Base
Attach the main lamp body to the ceiling. Rotate the lamp body clockwise ? to secure it to the mounting bracket.
Step 2: Wire Connections
Connect the electrical wires according to standard electrical practices. Ensure correct polarity. The diagram shows connecting wires using provided connectors ?.
Step 3: Secure the Luminaire
Mount the luminaire to the ceiling using the provided screws ? and wall plugs. Ensure all wiring is neatly managed and secured.
Step 4: Power Connection
Connect the main power supply ⚡ to the luminaire. The diagram illustrates the final wire connections and securing them.
Step 5: Attach the Diffuser
Secure the decorative diffuser to the luminaire. The diagram shows attaching this cover, possibly with screws ?.
Step 6: Final Assembly
The final step involves attaching the outer cover or diffuser to complete the installation.
Remote Control Pairing and Operation
The SKALÅDRA ceiling lamp is compatible with the IKEA MYRKISEL remote control, which is sold separately.
Pairing Procedure:
- Turn the light ON.
- Within 5 seconds of turning the light ON, turn it OFF and then ON again.
- The light will indicate it is in pairing mode. If pairing is unsuccessful, turn the light off and on again within 5 seconds to retry the pairing process.
The remote control allows adjustment of light color temperature. Typical options include 2700K (warm white), 4000K (neutral white), and 6000K (cool white), selected using the remote control buttons ◀️ ▶️.
