NYMÅNE Ceiling Lamp
This document provides installation instructions for the IKEA NYMÅNE ceiling lamp. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning installation.
Safety Information
IMPORTANT! Always shut off power to the circuit before starting installation work. In some countries, electrical installation work may only be carried out by an authorized electrical contractor. Contact your local electricity authority for advice. Different materials require different types of fittings. Always choose screws and plugs that are specially suited to the material.
The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person.
Installation Steps
- Ensure the power to the circuit is switched off at the main breaker before starting any electrical work.
- Select appropriate screws and wall plugs based on the material of your ceiling or wall.
- Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling using suitable screws and plugs.
- Connect the wires according to the diagram: Neutral (N) to N, Live (L) to L, and Ground (if applicable) to the ground symbol. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Carefully position the lamp onto the mounting bracket, aligning the slots on the lamp with the hooks on the bracket.
- Gently push the lamp upwards and twist it clockwise to secure it in place. You may hear a click when it is properly locked.
- Turn the power back on at the main breaker.
