Safety & Warnings
To ensure safety and avoid unnecessary injury or property damage caused by misuse, observe the following warnings. Failure to comply may result in accidents.
Grounding Requirements
- The dishwasher must be properly grounded to prevent the risk of electric shock in the event of a malfunction or damage.
- Use a national standard 3-hole outlet with ground protection. Ensure the ground wire is securely connected to the public power supply's ground after the power is turned on.
- Do not use 2-hole electrical outlets. Avoid outlets with overload protection.
Prohibited Actions
- The electrical outlet used must have a rated current of at least 6A and should be dedicated to the dishwasher. Using a lower-rated or shared outlet may lead to fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
- Do not place the dishwasher within 150mm of heat sources such as gas stoves or steam outlets.
- Do not use water supply temperatures above 40°C or allow water to freeze below 0°C.
- If abnormal conditions (e.g., burning smells) occur during use, stop operation immediately and disconnect both the water and power supply.
- Do not open the dishwasher while it is running. Steam or hot water may cause burns.
- Avoid placing hands near the top air outlet to prevent steam burns.
- Ensure that the inlet and drain hoses are properly installed without bending, to prevent clogs and operational failure.
- When placing dishes and cutlery, avoid obstructing the spray arm. Clean the filter of food residue after each wash.
- Do not place heavy objects on the door, as this may cause injury or damage.
- Do not spray or soak the dishwasher with water, as this poses a risk of short circuits or electric shock.
- Do not leave the door open unattended to prevent tipping hazards.
- Do not plug in the dishwasher with wet hands. If the power cord is damaged, cease use immediately and contact help.Kogan.com for support.
- Do not use the dishwasher before installation is complete. Only use it for its intended functions.
When loading the dish rack:
- Avoid sharp utensils coming into contact with the door seal.
- Place knives and other sharp items on the upper rack with the blades pointing down or placed horizontally. Avoid damaging the rack coating to prevent rust.
- Dishwasher detergent is alkaline. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
- Only use dishwasher-specific detergent tablets or powder. Do not substitute with dishwashing liquid, soap, or hand sanitiser, as this may damage the appliance.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Do not allow children to play with the dishwasher. Keep them away when the door is open.
- Use only new hose assemblies when connecting to the water supply. Do not reuse old hoses.
- Do not bend or crush the power cord during installation.
- Always unplug the dishwasher and turn off the water supply during maintenance, cleaning, or extended periods of non-use.
- The maximum allowable water inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa; the minimum is 0.04 MPa.
- Install the dishwasher on a level surface to ensure proper operation.
- The three-way valve cannot endure high water pressure for extended periods. Turn off the tap when the dishwasher is not in use.

Installation
Installation Requirements
Before setting up the dishwasher, ensure the following conditions are met:
- Proximity to Connections: Install the dishwasher close to a water source, drainage connection, and a dedicated electrical outlet. The electrical outlet must be a three-hole grounded outlet with a rated current of at least 6A to ensure electrical safety.
- Water Inlet Specifications:
- Water inlet pressure should be between 0.04-1.0 MPa.
- Water temperature should not exceed 40°C to avoid damaging internal components.
- Surface Positioning: Place the dishwasher on a flat, level surface to ensure proper function.
- Ventilation: The air outlet releases hot, humid steam. Avoid installing the unit directly beneath electrical outlets or near other sensitive electrical equipment.
Water Connection Options
There are 3 recommended water inlet configurations (Options A, B, and C) for connecting the dishwasher to a tap.
Option A & B: Direct Tap or Pipe Connection
Connect the inlet pipe directly to the tap or plumbing line using a three-way valve. These are suitable options when the tap or outlet is exposed and accessible.
Option C: Sink-through Method
In situations where the tap is not easily accessible:
- Drill a hole at the rear of the sink.
- Route the inlet pipe through the hole and connect it to the tap (using an appropriate adaptor or three-way valve).
Note: The water inlet pipe uses a 1/2-inch internal thread and must be connected to a 4-point external threaded faucet outlet.
Connect the Water Inlet Pipe (Figure 1)
- Locate the water inlet valve on the rear of the dishwasher.
- Align the elbow end of the inlet pipe and tighten it securely by hand. Do not overtighten.
A diagram shows the inlet pipe connected to the rear of the dishwasher.
Connect the Drainpipe (Figures 2 & 3)
- Attach the elbow end of the drainpipe to the water outlet valve on the rear of the dishwasher.
- Use the provided hose clamp to secure the pipe in place. Ensure the pipe is firmly attached and does not leak.
- Mount the pipe onto the dishwasher using the integrated bracket.
- Secure the other end of the drainpipe to the sink using the suction cup (Fig. 3). Ensure it is positioned securely above the waterline to prevent backflow.
Diagrams illustrate the hose clamp securing the drainpipe and the drainpipe secured with a suction cup in the sink.
Operation
Power On/Off
- Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. All indicators will illuminate for 1 second, and then the dishwasher will enter standby mode.
- Press the 'Power' button to switch the dishwasher on.
- When the unit is on, press and hold the 'Power' button to switch the dishwasher off.
- If there is no user input within 2 minutes, the dishwasher will automatically turn off.
Loading the Dishwasher
- Before placing dishes in the dishwasher, remove large food residues to prevent interference with the washing performance.
- Water sprays from the bottom of the dishwasher. Place bowls and cups with their openings facing downward to allow thorough cleaning and prevent water from collecting inside. The tilt angle allows water to drain off the bottom of the dish properly, as the dish opening is angled downward.
- Do not stack or overlap bowls, cups, saucers, or cutlery.
- Avoid placing items upside down on top of each other, as this can hinder effective cleaning and drying.
- After loading, manually rotate the lower spray arm to ensure it moves freely and does not touch any items.
Diagrams show incorrect loading of dishes.
Tank Mode
- When using Tank mode, power on the dishwasher and add water to the tank until you hear 3 beeps.
- Add approximately 2.5 cups of water until the 'Low Water' indicator turns off and 3 beeps sound.
- Refill the tank before each wash.
- After refilling, select the desired washing program.
A diagram shows water being poured into the dishwasher tank.
Adding Dishwashing Powder or Tablet
- It is recommended to use half a cap (approximately 10g) of dishwashing powder. Invert the cap and pour the powder into the detergent dispenser inside the dishwasher.
- If using a dishwashing tablet, one tablet is sufficient per wash.

Notes
Material Caution
- Avoid washing items made of gold, silver, aluminium, and other valuable or delicate materials, as repeated washing may reduce their surface finish.
- Antique tableware, glassware, and plastic items that are prone to fading may lose their colour or texture over time.
- Do not wash wood or bamboo tableware, as it may warp or grow mildew; remove these items promptly after washing.
- Do not wash large items such as pots and pans, as they may not clean effectively.
- Items with non-stick or Teflon coatings should also be avoided, as they may degrade over time.
Stubborn Stains
- For heavily soiled dishes, use Strong mode or pre-clean with other tools.
- This is recommended for items like baking trays or teacups with long-standing stains.
Residual Water
- The plastic liner and upper shelf may not dry completely.
- A small amount of water may remain beneath the filter after use; this is normal.
Water Stains
Some minor water stains may appear on dishes due to hard water. This is a normal occurrence and does not indicate a malfunction.
Cutlery Size
Spoons shorter than 230mm should not be placed on the upper rack for optimal cleaning.
