Cleaning & Care

How to Decalcify the Water Tank Interior

To clean calcium deposits, add one or two tablespoons of white vinegar to the water tank, shake, let sit for several hours, then pour away the solution and rinse with clean water.

Cleaning Procedure to Remove Scale

If steam output is reduced, lime scale may need removal. This can affect performance. Remove lime scale every 25-50 uses or monthly, especially in hard water areas. Frequency depends on water hardness.

Using Cleaning Solution:

  1. Prepare a solution of 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 tap water and add to the water tank.
  2. Position the unit safely, aim steam away from surfaces. Plug in and turn on to produce steam until the solution is used up.
  3. Repeat if necessary until normal steam flow is achieved.
  4. Fill the water tank with fresh water and rinse.
  5. Fill the water tank with fresh water, attach, and release steam until the tank is empty.

WARNING: Do not leave the appliance unattended during the lime scale removal process.

Notice

Perform a test cleaning on a suitable isolated area after descaling to ensure no debris remains. This product has no serviceable parts; any servicing must be done by a qualified technician or authorized service representative.
