Safety & Warnings

Overview

Follow these steps for a quick overview of using the dishwasher:

  1. Step 1: Switch on the appliance

Press the Power switch button to switch on the appliance and open the door.

  2. Step 2: Fill the detergent dispenser

The detergent dispenser has two compartments:

    • Compartment A: For each wash cycle.
    • Compartment B: For programmes with pre-wash only.

Diagram Description: A visual shows the detergent dispenser with compartments labeled A, B, and C (likely the rinse aid indicator).

  3. Step 3: Check the rinse aid level

Check the mechanical indicator (C) on the control panel.

  4. Step 4: Load the baskets

Scrape off any large amount of leftover food. Soften remnants of burnt food in pans and then load the baskets. It is not necessary to rinse the dishes under running water.

  5. Step 5: Select a programme

Close the door. Press the programme button until the selected programme lights up. (Refer to the "Operation" section for details).

  6. Step 6: Running the dishwasher

Turn on the water tap and press the Start/Pause button. The machine will start working after about 10 seconds.

  7. Step 6a: Changing the programme

A running cycle can only be modified if it has been running for a short time. Otherwise, the detergent may have already been released and the water already drained. If this is the case, the detergent dispenser must be refilled.

To cancel a running programme, press the Start/Pause button, then press and hold the programme button for more than 3 seconds. Select a new programme and restart the dishwasher.

  8. Step 6b: Add forgotten dishes in the dishwasher

Press the Start/Pause button to stop the machine. Open the door. Add the forgotten dishes. Close the door, then press the Start/Pause button. The dishwasher will start running again.

WARNING! Open the door carefully. Hot steam may escape when the door is opened!

  9. Step 6c: If the appliance is switched off during a wash cycle

If the appliance is switched off during a wash cycle, please re-select the washing cycle when switching on again.

  10. Step 7: Switch off the appliance

When the working cycle has finished, the buzzer will sound 8 times, then stop. Turn off the appliance using the Power button. The appliance will power off automatically after 30 minutes without any operation.

  11. Step 8: Turn off the water tap, unload the baskets

Warning: Wait for a few minutes (about 15 minutes) before unloading the dishwasher to avoid handling the dishes and utensils while they are still hot and more susceptible to break. They will also dry better. Unload the appliance, starting from the lower basket.

Back View

Diagram Description: A back view of the dishwasher showing connections: 7. Inlet pipe connector, 8. Drainpipe connector.

Installation

Position the appliance in the desired location. The back should rest against the wall behind it and the sides, along the adjacent cabinets or wall. The dishwasher is equipped with water supply and drain hoses that can be positioned to the left or right to facilitate installation.

Cold water connection

Connect the cold-water supply hose to a threaded 3/4" connector and ensure that it is fastened tightly in place. If the water pipes are new or have not been used for an extended period of time, let the water run to make sure that the water is clear and free of impurities. If this precaution is not taken, there is a risk that the water inlet can get blocked and damage the appliance.

Note: The top of the hose must be less than 750mm.

Diagram Description: A diagram illustrates the dishwasher connected to a sink's plumbing for cold water supply and drainage. It shows the water supply hose connected to the tap fitting and the drainpipe connected to the sink's drain. The maximum height for the drain hose is indicated as 750mm.

Drainage hose

Insert the drainage hose into a drainpipe with a minimum diameter of 4cm or let it run into the sink, making sure to avoid bending or crimping it. The free end of the hose must be at a height less than 75cm and must not be immersed in water to avoid backflow.

Pre-use checklist

Operation

Before use, add rinse aid and detergent.

Rinse aid dispenser

The rinse aid is released during the final rinse to prevent water from forming droplets on dishes, which can leave spots and streaks. It also improves drying by allowing water to roll off the dishes. The dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse aids. The rinse aid dispenser is located inside the door next to the detergent dispenser. To fill the dispenser, open the cap and pour the rinse aid into the dispenser until the level indicator turns completely black. The capacity of the rinse aid container is about 110ml.

Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing and spot and streak-free drying.

WARNING: Only use branded rinse aid for dishwashers. Never fill the rinse aid dispenser with any other substance (e.g., dishwasher cleaning agent and liquid detergent).

Fill gauge

Diagram Description: A visual shows the rinse aid indicator (labeled C) with markings for different fill levels: Full, 3/4 full, 1/2 full, 1/4 full (Should refill to eliminate spotting), and Empty.

How to fill

Note: Clean up any rinse aid that is spilled during filling with an absorbent cloth to avoid excessive foaming during the next wash. Don't forget to replace the cap before you close the dishwasher door.

Adjusting rinse aid dispenser

The default setting of 4 is recommended, but the dial can be adjusted to use less rinse aid.

Diagram Description: Two images show the process of opening the rinse aid dispenser. Image 1 shows pushing a latch to open. Image 2 shows the open dispenser with compartments labeled A and B.

Detergent

One tablespoon of detergent is recommended in most cases, due to the dishwasher's efficient function.
