iDimension Plus Upgrade Kit Installation Instructions
Installation of the upgrade kit allows an iDimension Plus system to be updated to the latest version.

1.0 Disassembly of the Existing Head
1. Remove the rear screws and rear plate from the old read head using a Phillips head screwdriver.

2. Disconnect the connection cables and the power adapter.

3. Locate the keyhole slots on the top of the iDimension system pole.
4. Loosen the mounting screws without removing them using a hex wrench provided in the hardware kit.

5. Lift to remove the old read head from the pole assembly.
IMPORTANT: When removing the read head, carefully pass the cables through the provided slot to avoid damaging them.
6. Replace the screws and the rear plate of the read head.
7. Discard the read head.
2.0 Reassembly of the Unit
1. Screw the mounting screws into the new read head. Do not tighten.

2. Remove the screws and rear plate from the read head.

3. Carefully pass the cables through the provided slot.
4. Align, insert, and lower the mounting screw heads into the pole's keyhole slots.
5. Tighten the mounting screws.
6. Place the adapter onto the power cable.

7. Connect the cable connections and the power adapter (see Illustration 9).

8. Replace the screws and the rear plate.
