These instructions detail the installation of the upgrade kit for the iDimension Plus, updating it to the latest version.

1.0 Removing the Existing Head
- Remove the rear screws and the rear plate of the old scan head using a Phillips screwdriver.
(See Figure 2 and Figure 3 for screw positions) - Disconnect the cable connections and the power adapter.
(See Figure 4 for disconnected connections) - Locate the keyholes on the top of the iDimension post.
- Loosen the mounting screws without removing them, using a hex wrench from the screw kit.
(See Figure 5 for keyhole locations) - Lift to remove the old scan head from the post assembly.
IMPORTANT: Carefully feed the cables through the cable slot when removing the scan head to avoid damage. - Replace the rear screws and the rear plate of the scan head.
- Dispose of the scan head.
2.0 Reassembling the Unit
- Thread the mounting screws into the new scan head. Do not tighten them yet.
(See Figure 6 for threaded mounting screws) - Remove the rear screws and the rear plate of the scan head.
(See Figure 7 for new rear screw positions) - Carefully feed the cables through the cable slot.
- Align, insert, and lower the mounting screw heads into the keyholes of the post assembly.
- Tighten the mounting screws.
- Attach the adapter to the power cable.
(See Figure 8 for adapted power cable assembly) - Connect the cable connections and the power adapter.
(See Figure 9 for connected cables and power adapter) - Reattach the rear plate and rear screws.
