IQplus 800/810 Panel Mounting Kit

Optional Features

This document provides instructions for installing the Panel Mounting Kit for the IQplus 810 Desktop Model. The kit includes five screws with washers designed to replace the original screws that secure the indicator body to its faceplate. A template derived from the provided drawing can be used to mark the necessary cut-out and drill holes in the panel.

Panel Cut-Out and Wiring Diagram Description

The diagram illustrates the precise dimensions for the panel cut-out and the internal wiring connections of the IQplus 810 indicator. The panel cut-out is rectangular with optional 1/8 unit radius corners. Key dimensions for the cut-out are: width 9-7/16 units, height 6-1/2 units. The overall panel width is 10 units, and the overall height is 7-29/64 units. There are five 7/32 unit diameter through-holes for mounting. The horizontal spacing for the bottom holes from the left edge are 2-5/8 units, 6-5/8 units (calculated as 2-5/8 + 4), and 9-1/4 units. The vertical position of the top mounting holes is 15/32 units from the top edge of the cut-out, and the bottom holes are 5/8 units from the bottom edge of the cut-out. The side view of the indicator shows internal connections including: Load Cell Cable, Communications Cable, AC Power Cable, and a Ground connection. Internal terminals are labeled TO J10, TO J7, and TO J4.

Installation Instructions

  1. Unplug the AC power cord before beginning.
  2. Remove the back of the indicator by unscrewing six machine bolts holding the back to the faceplate.
  3. Temporarily remove any cable connections from the indicator terminals. Remove the ground cable from the cast lug on the rear of the indicator case.
  4. Using a template made from the drawing above, transfer the cut-out to the panel. Cut out the panel and drill holes to size.
  5. Hold the faceplate against the panel as shown and secure with the five machine screws and washers provided.
  6. Attach the ground wire that was connected to the lug on the indicator body to one of the five screws.
  7. Re-attach cables to the indicator terminals. Power up and test the indicator.
