Device Adding Methods
There are three primary methods for adding a new device:
-
A. Scan to Add
QR Code Method: Scan the QR code shown on your NVR screen. This QR code can be found within your NVR system under 'System Setting > Network' (Old UI) or 'System Setup > App/account' (New UI). After the device is powered on, scan the QR code on the device body or display.
[Note: If scanning is not possible due to screen glare, please use another option to add your device.]
-
B. Camera ID Add
Manual Entry: If necessary, manually input the Cloud ID to connect the device to the app. You will need to enter the Cloud ID, Device name, User name, and Password.
Using NVR Credentials: The username and password required are the same as those used for your NVR.
The device ID number can typically be found next to the QR code label on the body of the device.
-
C. LAN Scan
Access LAN Settings: Within the app options, select 'LAN Scan' to search for your local device on the network.
Device List: After scanning, a list of local devices will appear. Select the ones you wish to add.
[Note on Bluetooth: You may encounter a prompt to turn on nearby devices for Bluetooth scanning. If this occurs, and you are an iPhone user, you can typically click "Cancel" to bypass this step.]
