Product Overview and Image Description
The VEVOR Shipping Scale is a digital scale designed for weighing packages and goods. It features a sturdy platform, an adjustable display pole, and a clear digital display for weight, unit price, and total price.

The display unit houses a digital screen and a keypad for inputting data like unit price and performing functions.
The display unit features three main windows:
- WEIGHT WINDOW: Displays the current weight.
- UNIT PRICE WINDOW: Displays the unit price entered.
- TOTAL WINDOW: Displays the calculated total price.
The keypad includes numeric buttons (0-9), function buttons (ADD, TARE, CLEAR, ZERO, FUN, VOLT, DYNA, CHG, QUERY, kg/lb, ON/OFF), and other operational keys.

- Display Windows: Weight indicator window: 5 digits; Unit price indicator window: 5 digits; Total price indicator window: 6 digits.
Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble the shipping scale:
- Step 1: Fix the instrument to the stand. Secure the display unit to the top of the pole, likely using screws or a mounting bracket.
- Step 2: Set up the stand. Attach the pole to the base or platform, ensuring it is stable, possibly by tightening a knob or screw.
- Step 3: Adjust the feet. Rotate the adjustable feet at the base of the scale to ensure it is level on the platform.
- Step 4: Cover the plate. Place the weighing platform onto the scale's base structure.
Operation Instructions
- Preparation: Assemble the four base adjustment feet. Place the scale on a solid, smooth platform. Mount the display unit to the stand. Place the white plastic mat under the scale plate and then position the scale plate on the upper bracket. Connect the power plugs. Verify the AC indicator lamp is lit; if not, check connections.
- Weight: Do not weigh items exceeding the capacity. If overloaded, the display will show "OL" with an alarm. Remove excess weight immediately to prevent damage.
- Input Unit Price: While weighing an item, use the keypad (0-9) to enter its unit price. The total price will be calculated and displayed.
- TARE: To weigh items in a container, place the empty container on the scale plate first. Press the "TARE" button. The weight indicator will show "000.00". Then, add the goods to the container to obtain the net weight.
- ADD (M+): This function allows summing multiple items with different prices.
- Example: Goods A (1.5kg @ $5.00/kg), Goods B (0.7kg @ $8.00/kg).
- Procedure:
- Place Item A on the scale. Weight: 1.500kg. Input unit price $5.00/kg. Total Price: $7.50.
- Press the "ADD" button. The display shows "Add01", and the Total Price remains $7.50. Remove Item A.
- Place Item B on the scale. Weight: 0.700kg. Input unit price $8.00/kg. Total Price: $5.60.
- Press the "ADD" button. The display shows "Add02", and the Total Price updates to $13.10.
- This process can be repeated up to 99 times.
- CLR (Clear):
- If in "ADD" mode and an error occurs, pressing "CLEAR" may show "Clr" and allow exiting the add condition.
- If not in "ADD" mode and a wrong unit price is entered, pressing "CLEAR" resets the input to "0.00", allowing correct entry.
- ZERO: If the weight indicator does not show "0.000" when no items are on the scale, press the "ZERO" button to reset it.
- FUN (Counting Function):
- Press the [FUN] button to enter the counting mode.
- Enter the number of samples.
- Place the sample weight on the scale.
- Press [FUN] again to end sampling and enter the counting calculation.
- Press [CLR] to exit the counting function.
- VOLT: Press this button to check the battery voltage. The voltage (e.g., `dc-4.30`) will be displayed in the price window. The scale returns to weighing mode after one second.
- DYNA: This feature allows storing up to eight weight values. Pressing [DYNA] displays [DYNA] [OFF/ON] [0.00]. The scale returns to weighing mode after one second.
- CHG (Payment Function): This function is used to receive payment and calculate change.
- Enter "CHA" mode when the amount displayed is "0".
- If the amount is not "0", press the [CHA] key to enter charge mode.
- Enter the received payment amount in the unit price window. If the received amount is greater than or equal to the total amount due, the change will be displayed. Otherwise, "------" will be shown.
- Press the [CHG] key to exit the payment function; the window will display "0".
- QUERY: Query the weight of the lock. This function is primarily used to retrieve locked data from the HOLD function and only works when HOLD is active.
- Check up to eight transaction records (Hold1 to Hold8). Hold1 is the first record.
- When query is active, the weight window will alternately display the lock status and the lock value for approximately 0.5 seconds before returning to the normal display after two cycles.
- kg/lb: Press this button to switch between kilogram (kg) and pound (lb) units. The default unit is kg.
- Close the scale: Press the "ON/OFF" button, then unplug the power cord.
Use Environment
- Environment Temperature: Storage: -25℃ to +50℃; Operation: 0℃ to +40℃.
- Humidity: Storage: less than 70% RH; Operation: less than 90% RH.
Attention & Safety Precautions
- It is prohibited to expose the scale to rain or wash it with water, especially the internal components.
- Do not place the scale in moist environments or high-temperature conditions.
- Avoid crashing the scale or subjecting it to heavy loads. Do not place items exceeding the scale's capacity on the platform, even when the scale is not in use.
- If the scale is stored for an extended period, charge the battery for 24 hours every 2-3 months to prevent battery damage.
- Always use the alternating current power supply as specified in this manual.
- Ensure correct wiring for the storage battery: connect red wires to red ends and black wires to black ends.
- The storage battery is not included in the list of free spare parts.
