This document provides instructions for the VEVOR SF-890 Shipping Scale. It is a precision instrument that requires careful handling. Please read all instructions before use to achieve the best possible results.

Features

Large LCD display with back light.
Low battery indication “LO”, over load indication "O_Ld".
Automatic power off after 5 minutes of inactivity (unless powered by adapter or during calibration).

Button Functions

ON/OFF Button: Turns the scale on and off.
TARE Button: Tares the weight of the load, allowing for the weight of containers or vessels to be eliminated.
MODE Button: Changes the unit of measure for the scale.
HOLD Button: Locks the readout, even if items are removed from the platform.

Operation

Place the scale on a level platform.
Insert batteries or plug in the AC adapter.
Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn the scale on.
Wait for the display to show "0" (zero) before placing any weight on the scale.
Carefully place item(s) on the platform.
After a few seconds, the weight will stabilize, and the weight data will be displayed on the LCD.
Press the "MODE" button to switch between weighing units.
Auto-off time setting: Long press the TARE button to choose auto-off time. Press the TARE button to cycle through "1", "3", "5" minutes, or "-" (OFF). Press the MODE button to confirm.

Calibration

Put the scale on a flat platform.
Turn on the scale and press the "MODE" button for six seconds. The scale will show capacity.
Press the “TARE” button to choose the calibration value (e.g., 2kg/5kg/10kg). Press “MODE” to confirm the calibration value.
Place the specified counterweight on the platform as indicated. The indicator will show "PASS” after the readout is stable.
If the loading weight is not stable or calibration is stopped, the scale will show "Err” and turn off automatically after one minute.
Press ON/OFF to stop calibration.

Care Instructions

Do not place the scale on an uneven surface.
Do not expose the scale to moisture.
Do not drop or mistreat the scale.
Do not overload the scale, as this will cause permanent damage.
Do not leave weight on the scale when not in use.
Replace the battery when the scale displays "LO".
