Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.
- NEVER LEAVE GRINDER UNATTENDED WHILE IT IS RUNNING!
- ALWAYS USE THE PROVIDED STOMPER. NEVER FEED FOOD BY HAND. KEEP FINGERS CLEAR OF THE AUGER AND CUTTING BLADES AT ALL TIMES. NEVER REACH INTO THE GRINDER, as this may cause serious injury.
- Always keep the tray guard in place while operating.
- AVOID contact with moving parts. NEVER USE FINGERS TO SCRAPE FOOD AWAY FROM THE CUTTING BLADE WHILE IT IS IN OPERATION. SEVERE INJURY MAY RESULT.
- Wait until all moving parts have stopped and turn off power before removing any part or switching the grinder in reverse.
- TIE BACK loose hair, clothing, or any loose object and roll up long sleeves before operating.
- REMOVE ties, rings, watches, bracelets, or other jewelry before operating.
- DO NOT operate the Grinder with a damaged cord or plug, or after the unit malfunctions. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPLACE THE CORD. Call Customer Service for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- DO NOT use outdoors; this product is intended for INDOOR USE ONLY.
- DO NOT let the rope hang over the edge of a table or counter. Do not touch sharp edges or hot surfaces.
- DO NOT allow the rope to kink, get stuck under the unit, or wrap around the grinder.
- DO NOT pull the power cord to disconnect.
- DO NOT USE WITH EXTENSION CORD. Always plug directly into a grounded wall receptacle.
- Place the grinder on a firm and stable surface. Ensure it is not near the edge of the worktop where it can be easily pushed off or fall.
- The Gear Housing and Motor Cover may become HOT during operation. This is normal. DO NOT TOUCH these parts while operating.
- DO NOT attempt to operate the Grinder if the Grinder, Motor, and Gear Box are cold. The temperature should be at least 45°F (7°C) before starting operation.

- Attach the Front Head Ring Nut and turn it clockwise until snug against the Grinder Plate.
- Place the neck of the Meat Tray into the Grinder Feed Chute Opening and press down until secure.
SAUSAGE STUFFING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Before cleaning, assembling, or disassembling, ensure the PLUG IS REMOVED FROM THE OUTLET POWER SOURCE! Always unplug the Grinder when not in use. After unplugging, turn the power switch ON, then OFF to ensure all power is discharged.
IMPORTANT: While one person can operate this grinder for sausages, two people are recommended. One operates the grinder and feeds meat, while the other manages the sausage casings.
WARNING! NEVER RUN GRINDER DRY WITHOUT MEAT! It can damage the unit. Meat acts as a lubricant. If you run out of meat, turn the grinder off immediately.
TO BEGIN STUFFING:
- Place seasoned ground meat into the Meat Tray. Do not overfill; leave the Feed Chute area open. (See Figure 1: Meat in tray)
- Slide a sausage casing over the Stuffing Funnel. (See Figure 2: Casing on funnel)
- Pull 4-6" (10-15 cm) of casing from the end of the Stuffing Funnel Tube and tie a knot in the end. (See Figure 3: Knotted casing)
- Ensure the Grinder is OFF. Attach to power supply.
- Press the Grinder "ON" button. Carefully feed ground meat into the Feed Chute. ONLY USE THE STOMPER TO PUSH MEAT; DO NOT USE FINGERS OR OTHER OBJECTS.
- Hold the casing in place with one hand while feeding the sausage mixture. As meat fills the casing, gently lay it on a clean, dry surface. (See Figure 4: Sausage being formed)
- Do not fill the last 4-6 inches (10-15.24 cm) of casings. After filling, twist the open end and tie tightly. Twist into a chain if desired.
- Fill the casing slowly to avoid air pockets. If air pockets appear, prick them with a pin; the small holes will seal naturally.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE & STORAGE
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: BEFORE CLEANING, ENSURE THE POWER IS TURNED OFF AND THE UNIT IS UNPLUGGED. Disassemble the Grinder Head and wash parts that contact meat in hot soapy water, removing all grease and oil. Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling.
- Wash all parts that have contacted meat in hot soapy water. CLEAN IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE. DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS!
- Rinse Grinder parts with clear hot water, and then dry them IMMEDIATELY.
- Fully lubricate the Head, Auger, Plates, and Knife with a food-grade silicone spray before and after each use.
- Clean the Motor Cover and Gear Housing with a damp towel and wipe dry. DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS!
IMPORTANT: Metal parts must be coated with food-safe silicone spray to prevent rusting. Unprotected parts will rust quickly.
