Step 1: Connect End Pieces to First Support Bar

Attach two wooden end pieces to one of the metal support bars. Use one Allen key (100006) and one screw (100229) for each connection point. Ensure the connectors on the metal bar are oriented correctly relative to the end piece. An incorrect orientation is marked with a cross symbol (❌).

Step 2: Attach Second Support Bar

Connect the second metal support bar to the other ends of the wooden end pieces. Use screws (100229) for this step. Ensure the parts are aligned correctly. An incorrect assembly is indicated with a cross symbol (❌).

Step 3: Insert Curved Slats

Begin inserting the 10 curved wooden slats into the connectors on the metal support bars. Push each slat firmly into its slot until it clicks into place. Follow the directional arrows shown in the diagrams. An incorrect insertion method is marked with a cross symbol (❌).

Step 4: Continue Inserting Slats

Continue inserting the remaining curved wooden slats into the connectors along the support bars. Ensure each slat is properly seated and aligned.

Step 5: Insert Straight Slats

Insert the 18 straight wooden slats into the remaining slots on the metal support bars. These slats are placed between the curved ones to complete the base surface.

Step 6: Secure Frame with End Pieces

Attach the wooden end pieces to the frame structure. Use the Allen key (100006) and screws (100823) for this step. Ensure the end pieces are firmly attached.

Step 7: Final Frame Securing

Secure the entire slatted base frame using the remaining screws (109049) and washers (100823) at the designated points marked with 'X' symbols. Tighten these screws to ensure structural integrity.

Step 8: Place into Bed Frame

The assembled LÖNSET slatted bed base is now ready to be placed into your bed frame. The diagram shows the base being lowered into a bed frame.
