AKO D141H232 Digital Thermostat Installation and Operation Guide
1- Warnings
Failure to comply with the manufacturer's instructions may lead to safety problems with the device. Only probes supplied by AKO should be used to ensure the correct operation of the device.
This unit must be installed protected from vibration, water, and corrosive gases, and from locations outside the ambient temperatures specified in the technical data.
The probe should not be placed in the same environment as any external heater to ensure accurate readings, other than the measured or controlled temperature.
The power supply circuit must be supported by a main switch with a range of at least 2 A, 230 V, and should be located near the equipment. Cables should come from the rear and be of type H05VV-F or H05V-K.
The diameter must be adjusted according to local instructions, but in no case less than 1 mm².
Relay contact connection cables must be 2.5 mm².
Between -40 °C and +20 °C, if the NTC probe is extended up to 1,000m with a minimum 0.5 mm² cable, the maximum deviation is 0.25 °C. (Additional cable for AKO-15586 ref. probe)
NOTE: The equipment is not compatible with AKO-14917 (external communication module) and AKO-14918 (programming key).
2- Installation
The installation of the probe and its cables must NEVER be done in the same cable duct as power, control, or welding cables.
