Setpoint and Programming Access
Accessing setpoint and programming functions varies by device type:
3- and 4-key devices
Setpoint Access: Display shows temperature. Press and hold SET for 5 seconds, then release to access setpoint. Press SET again to confirm.
Programming Access: Display shows temperature. Press and hold SET for 10 seconds, then release to access programming.
Key functions during programming:
- SET: Access parameter or accept the new value.
- UP Arrow (?): Toggle parameters or increase value.
- DOWN Arrow (?): Toggle parameters or decrease value.
1-key devices
Setpoint Access: Display shows temperature. Press and hold SET for 5 seconds, then release to access setpoint. Press SET again to confirm.
Stand-by Mode: Press and release SET for less than 5 seconds to go to Stand-by.
Programming Access: Display shows temperature. Press and hold SET for 10 seconds, then release to access programming.
Key functions during programming:
- SET: Access parameter or accept the new value.
- UP Arrow (?): Short push (less than 5 seconds): Toggle parameters or increase value. Long push (more than 5 seconds): Access parameter or accept the new value.
- DOWN Arrow (?): Toggle parameters or decrease value.
BIGDarwin
Setpoint Access: Display shows temperature. Press and hold the UP arrow (?) for 5 seconds to access setpoint. Press UP arrow (?) again to confirm.
Stand-by Mode: Press and release the DOWN arrow (?) for less than 5 seconds to go to Stand-by.
Programming Access: Display shows temperature. Press and hold the UP arrow (?) for 10 seconds, then release to access programming.
Key functions during programming:

Messages
The following table lists the messages displayed by the controllers:
- AE: External alarm activated.
- AES: Severe external alarm activated.
- Adt: Defrost time-out alarm.
- Pab: Door open alarm.
- Ar: Clock battery discharged or clock deprogrammed.
- Art: Pump down timed-out.
- E1/E2/E3: Probe 1, 2 or, 3 faulty.
- dEF: Indicates a defrost is underway.
- AH: Flashing: maximum temperature alarm on control probe.
- AL: Flashing: minimum temperature alarm on control probe.
Display Indicators
The following indicators can be displayed:
- (PRG) Programming mode active
- Standby mode active
- COOL relay active
- DEF relay active
- (AUX) AUX relay active
- Continuous cycle active
- FAN relay active
- HEAT relay active
- (ECO) ECO mode active
Note: Flashing indicator lights signal that the function should be activated by temperature but is not due to a timing or protection override.
