Introduction to the Network Video Recorder
The VIVOTEK ND9326P and ND9426P are advanced H.265 Linux-based standalone Network Video Recorders (NVRs). Equipped with embedded Power over Ethernet (PoE), these NVRs support 8 or 16 network cameras and feature 8x or 16x 802.3at/af PoE ports, simplifying installation by providing power and data over a single Ethernet cable. They also display PoE power information for enhanced convenience.
The NVRs offer seamless remote and mobile access through VORTEX Connect, VIVOCloud, and iViewer applications for both iOS and Android devices. The VIVOCloud app enhances user experience with instant push notifications and direct video playback triggered by alarm notifications, making it an intelligent solution for small to medium-sized video surveillance needs.
Featuring H.265 compression technology and supporting up to two Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) for a total of 16TB of storage, these NVRs provide over 30% more recording capacity compared to H.264 systems, allowing for longer video recording durations. Additionally, RAID 0/1 configurations offer enhanced data security against potential hard drive failures.
For high-quality imaging, the NVR supports network camera resolutions up to 4K and 20-Megapixels. It also includes VIVOTEK's fisheye network camera "Fisheye Dewarp" function, accessible via a web console, which provides multiple de-warping modes for live view and playback, ensuring accurate video angles and detailed information. The "Story-Board Search" function allows for quick and intuitive event finding by providing a visual overview of past recordings.
The NVR supports both HDMI and VGA local video outputs, enabling users to control the Graphical User Interface (GUI) OSD using a mouse and keyboard, eliminating the need for a separate PC for searching or playback. The intuitive VIVOTEK GUI design ensures a smooth user experience.

Safety Information
For safe operation, connect the system to an earthed main power outlet. Never open the power supply unit housing. Install and operate the system only in a dry, weather-proof location. Regularly check for visible damage to the system or power cord, ensure the system is operating correctly, and verify it has not been exposed to rain, moisture, or stored under harsh conditions or stress. All installation and maintenance should be handled by qualified personnel. Read this manual carefully for important safety instructions.
The rated AC input is 100-240V~ 3.5A, 60-50Hz, with a maximum consumption of 190W (ND9326P) or 270W (ND9426P). In case of a fault, disconnect the power cord immediately. Avoid installing the system near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Ensure all ventilation openings remain unobstructed. Use only the provided cables or appropriate cables that can withstand electromagnetic interference.
