Important Safety Information
Warning Before Installation:
- If you detect abnormal smell or smoke coming from the Network Video Recorder, power it off immediately.
- Do not place the Network Video Recorder near heat sources, such as televisions or ovens.
- Do not drop the Network Video Recorder or the Network Camera.
- Keep the Network Video Recorder away from water. If it gets wet, power it off immediately.
- Do not place the Network Video Recorder in high humidity environments.
- Do not expose the Network Video Recorder to direct sunlight.
- Do not attempt to remove or uninstall the software on the mounted flash memory.

Hardware Installation
Follow these steps to install the hardware:
- Prepare the Enclosure: Open the NVR enclosure.
- Install Hard Drives:
- Mount the hard drives (HDD) into the designated bays.
- Connect SATA power and SATA data cables to the hard drives. The diagram shows connecting two SATA HDDs.
- Connect Internal Cables: Connect the SATA data cables from the motherboard to the hard drives.
- Secure the Enclosure: Close and secure the NVR enclosure.
- Connect External Cables:
- Connect the AC power adapter (AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz) to the NVR.
- Connect network cables to the LAN/WAN ports and PoE ports (for cameras).
- Connect USB devices to the USB 2.0 ports.

- Step 10 shows the rear panel connections, including power input, LAN/WAN, PoE ports, and USB ports.
- Step 11 depicts the initial software setup process, including camera detection and network configuration.
Important Notes
PoE Port Usage: Please do not connect the NVR's PoE ports to non-Powered Devices (non-PD), such as an Ethernet switch LAN port, as the Ethernet control circuits may not be compatible.
