Adjust the Latch

Ensure the latch is the correct length. If it is too long, pull it to adjust from 60mm to 70mm. The hole in the middle of the latch should be square, not rhomboid. Ensure the square part is on the left or right of the latch, not in the middle.

Install the Latch and Strike Plate

Insert the latch into the door, keeping the square hole horizontal. Use the "Strike & Latch Screws" to secure the latch and strike plate to the door frame.

Install the Front Panel

Align the arrowhead on the front panel with the door's handing (L for left-hand door, R for right-hand door). Insert the flat ruler and cotter pin to fix the handle direction. Tighten using the three female screw bolts.

Route the IC Wire & Install the Mounting Plate

Route the IC wire under the latch and through the plate hole. Tighten the three mounting plate screws to fix the mounting plate.

Install the Back Panel

  1. Connect the IC wire.
  2. Tighten the three back panel screws.
  3. Install the batteries and the cover.

Test

Insert batteries. On the keypad, enter #123456# to unlock. Press the # key for a few seconds to lock.

How to Reset

Take the back panel apart. Press the inside reset button for 3 seconds until you hear "Please enter the initialization password". Enter #000# to confirm. Ensure the IC wire and battery are installed properly.
