IVAR Shelf Unit Assembly
Overview
This guide provides instructions for assembling the IKEA IVAR shelf unit, including its integration into a larger IVAR shelving system.

Assembly Steps
Step 1: Prepare Long Panel
Take one long panel. Insert two wooden dowels (118331) into the pre-drilled holes. Screw two cam lock screws (101350) into the corresponding holes on the same panel. Ensure they are securely fastened. [insert dowels] [insert cam lock screws] [tighten screws] ⚙️
Step 2: Attach Side Panels
Take two side panels. Insert wooden dowels (118331) into the bottom edge holes of each side panel. Align these side panels with the prepared long panel from Step 1. Insert cam locks (106720) into the side panels and tighten them with a screwdriver to secure the connection. [insert dowels] [align panels] [insert cam locks] [tighten cam locks] ⚙️
Step 3: Attach Top Panels
Take two long panels. Align them with the top edges of the side panels. Insert four wood screws (100229) through the side panels into each top panel. Use the Allen key (100006) to tighten these screws. (Total of 8 screws used for this step). [align panels] [insert screws] [tighten screws] ⚙️
Step 4: Insert Shelf Divider
Take the shelf divider. Slide it into the grooves or slots on the inside of the assembled box unit. Secure the divider in place using two screws (101512) and a screwdriver, screwing them into the designated holes on the side panels. [slide divider] [insert screws] [tighten screws] ⚙️
Step 5: Mount into IVAR System
Place the assembled IVAR box unit into the desired position within a larger IVAR shelving system frame. Secure the box unit to the frame using four mounting brackets/clips (101324) and a screwdriver, attaching them to the designated points. [position unit] [attach brackets] [tighten screws] ⚙️
