Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Side Frames
Take the two side frame pieces. Insert 4x cam lock screws (118331) into the pre-drilled holes on each side frame.
Step 2: Insert Dowels
Insert 4x wooden dowels (101345) into the corresponding holes on the lower horizontal pieces of the side frames.
Step 3: Attach Horizontal Supports
Attach the lower horizontal support pieces to the side frames. Insert 6x wooden dowels (101345) into the holes on the ends of these supports.
Step 4: Attach Crossbars
Attach the upper crossbars to the side frames. Insert 4x cam locks (120076) into the large holes on the side frames and turn them to secure the crossbars.
Step 5: Attach Base
Attach the base frame. Insert 2x bolts (107862) through the base frame and into the side frames. Tighten with the Allen key (100006).
Step 6: Prepare Shelves
Prepare the shelves. Insert 8x wooden dowels (101350) into the designated holes on the ends of the shelf supports.
Step 7: Attach Vertical Supports
Attach the vertical support pieces to the base frame. The arrows indicate the direction of insertion.
Step 8: Insert Shelves
Insert the shelves into the assembled frame. Use 12x wooden dowels (101345) to secure the shelves.
Step 9: Secure Frame
Secure the main frame structure. Use the Allen key (100006) to insert 6x screws (110727) through the vertical supports and into the frame.
Step 10: Final Frame Assembly
Continue securing the frame. Use the Allen key (100006) to insert 6x screws (110727) into the remaining connection points.
Step 11: Position and Mark for Wall Anchoring
Place the assembled bookshelf in its final position against a wall. Use a pencil to mark the wall through the designated hole on the top rear of the bookshelf for the anti-tip device.
Step 12: Attach Anti-tip Strap to Furniture
Attach one end of the anti-tip strap (128481) to the back of the bookshelf using the provided screw.
Step 13: Attach Anti-tip Strap to Wall
Secure the other end of the anti-tip strap to the wall at the marked location using appropriate wall fasteners (not included, choose based on your wall type). Ensure the strap is taut.
Final Check
Ensure all screws and fasteners are tightened. Verify the anti-tip device is securely attached to both the furniture and the wall.
Important: Always follow the safety warnings to prevent serious injury or death from furniture tip-over.
