Read this user manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference. When using an electric appliance, always follow basic precautions, including the following:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS (FOR THIS APPLIANCE) BEFORE USE. Failure to follow warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

Usage Restrictions

  • This appliance must not be used by children under 8 years of age or persons with physical, sensory, or mental impairments, or with limited experience or knowledge, without the supervision of a parent or guardian to ensure safe operation and avoid risks. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
  • Plastic film can be dangerous. Keep it away from children to prevent suffocation hazards. Children must not play with the appliance.
  • Use indoors only, on non-carpeted floors such as vinyl, tiles, sealed wood, etc. Be careful not to drive over loose objects or carpet edges. Blocking the brush may lead to premature failure of the drive belt.
  • Use the appliance only as described in this manual. Use only attachments recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not expose the appliance to fire or excessively high temperatures. Exposure to fire or high temperatures can cause an explosion.
  • Do not use in extremely hot or cold environments (below 5 °C / 41 °F or above 40 °C / 104 °F). Charge the appliance at temperatures above 5 °C / 41 °F and below 40 °C / 104 °F.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in liquid.
  • Do not use to vacuum flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline. Do not use in areas where flammable or combustible liquids may be present.
  • Do not insert objects into the openings. Do not use the appliance when an opening is blocked. Keep clear of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may obstruct airflow.
  • Do not vacuum toxic materials (bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.). Do not vacuum hard or sharp objects such as glass, nails, screws, coins, etc.
  • Do not use the appliance in an enclosed space with paint fumes, paint thinner, some mothproofing substances, flammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapors. Do not vacuum anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
  • Do not use the appliance without filters installed.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts of the appliance and its accessories.
  • Keep floor cords away from the appliance during use. Danger may occur if the appliance runs over a power cord.
  • Be extra careful when cleaning on stairs.

Maintenance and Storage

  • Prevent accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the OFF position before picking up or carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance with your finger on the switch or turning on the appliance during transport can lead to an accident.
  • Ensure the appliance is placed on a horizontal surface. Do not use the appliance in the same position if it is equipped with a roller brush and the handle is not fully upright. Do not store the appliance in a place where it can freeze.
  • Turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use, before cleaning, maintenance, or service, and before connecting or disconnecting with a moving brush.
  • Do not use a damaged or modified appliance. A damaged or modified appliance may react unpredictably, leading to fire, explosion, or risk of injury.
  • Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance, except as indicated in the instructions for use and maintenance.
  • Do not use the appliance with a damaged accessory (e.g., charging station, power cord, etc.). Never attempt to operate the appliance or accessory if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, fallen into water, or is not functioning properly. Have it repaired at an authorized service center.
  • Have maintenance performed by a qualified technician, using only equivalent replacement parts. This ensures the safety of the appliance.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to prevent a hazard.

Battery and Charging

  • To charge the appliance, use only the charging station supplied with this appliance. Use only with the HCBAO charging station.
  • Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the appliance outside the temperature range indicated on the battery, as this increases the risk of fire.
  • The charging station is equipped with a drying function and is only suitable for drying the brush of this appliance.
  • Keep the charging station cable away from heated surfaces. Do not touch the charging station plug or the appliance with wet hands. To unplug, grasp the charging station plug, not the cable.
  • Do not pull or carry the charging station by the cable, do not use the cable as a handle, do not close the door with the cable trapped, and do not pull the cable around sharp edges or corners.
  • Do not use any non-rechargeable battery pack. Otherwise, the lithium-ion battery may catch fire. This appliance contains batteries that can only be replaced by qualified technicians or customer service.
  • The lithium-ion battery contains substances that are harmful to the environment. Before disposing of the appliance, first remove the battery and then dispose of or recycle everything in accordance with the local laws and regulations of the country or region where it is used.
  • When removing the battery, the appliance must be disconnected from the mains. Keep batteries out of reach of children. Never put batteries in your mouth. If swallowed, contact your doctor or the local poison control center.
  • In case of misuse, never come into contact with the battery from which liquid may have leaked. In case of accidental contact, rinse with water. If liquid gets into the eyes, seek immediate medical attention. Liquid leaking from the battery can cause irritation or burns.
  • The charging station can charge the 6-cell 5000 mAh battery. This charging station must not be used to charge non-rechargeable batteries. Otherwise, the lithium-ion battery may catch fire.
  • The charging station is marked with an icon indicating "Caution: hot surface." Do not touch the roller brush, hot water, or heating module of the charging station during self-cleaning with hot water.

Display Screen

The display screen shows various modes and indicators:

  • Smart Mode: The appliance intelligently detects the level of dirt and adjusts suction power and water flow accordingly.
  • Turbo Mode: When Turbo Mode is selected, the appliance will vacuum up stubborn dirt on the floor.
  • Suction Mode: Vacuums up a large amount of water from the floor.
  • Custom Mode: Suction power, water volume, etc., can be adjusted via the app. The main unit will operate according to the app settings.

Indicators for Water Levels and Brush:

  • Insufficient water in the clean water tank: Fill the clean water tank.
  • Dirty water tank is full: Empty the dirty water tank.
  • Roller brush stuck: Clean the roller brush with the provided cleaning brush.
  • Clogged tube: Refer to the Care and Maintenance section to clean the tube and dirt sensor.
  • Roller brush and tube are dirty: Place the appliance back on the charging station for self-cleaning.

Installation and Charging

Fully charge the appliance before first use.

  • Step 1: Insert the handle end vertically into the opening on the top of the appliance until you hear a click. To detach, insert a suitable tool into the hole as shown to press the latch and pull the handle upwards firmly.
  • Step 2: Insert the storage rod vertically into the storage base to assemble the accessory holder. To detach, press the latch at the bottom and pull the storage rod out.
  • Step 3: Place the charging station against a wall on a flat surface and connect it to a power source. Attach the accessory holder to one of the slots on either side at the bottom of the charging station.
  • Step 4: Place the appliance on the charging station. When the screen reaches 100%, charging is complete.
  • Step 5: Insert the extension wand into the multi-surface brush. Insert the motor handle into the extension wand. Store the vacuum attachments on the accessory holder as illustrated.

Notes:

  • The appliance will enter sleep mode if it remains inactive for 10 minutes after a full charge.
  • To prolong battery life, the battery will cool down before charging after prolonged use.
  • Do not leave the motor or battery pack on the accessory holder for an extended period to prevent falls and damage.

Connecting to the Dreamehome App

  1. Scan the QR code on the appliance, or search for "Dreamehome" in the app store to download and install the app.
  2. Briefly press the On/Off switch to turn it on.
  3. Press and hold the voice prompt/Wi-Fi button on the back of the appliance to set up the Wi-Fi connection. The Wi-Fi indicator will pulse white, and the voice prompt will say: "Waiting for network configuration."
  4. Open the Dreamehome app and scan the same QR code on the appliance again to add the device. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Wi-Fi connection.

Notes:

  • Press and hold the voice prompt/Wi-Fi button and the self-cleaning button for 3 seconds to restore factory settings.
  • Only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is supported.
  • Due to app software updates, actual operations may differ from the instructions in this manual. Follow the instructions based on the current app version.
  • The appliance will disconnect from the network if there is no operation for 10 minutes or if the network connection fails. To reset Wi-Fi, repeat the above steps and complete the connection according to the app prompts.
  • After Wi-Fi setup is complete, press and hold the voice prompt/Wi-Fi button to disable the network connection. Press and hold again to reconnect to Wi-Fi.
  • Do not add any liquids other than the officially approved cleaner. The cleaner is available from the official online store. Refer to the cleaner's label for specific usage instructions.

How to Use

  1. Pull the clean water tank handle to remove the tank.
  2. Open the tank lid and fill the tank with clean water.
  3. Open the side lid of the cleaning solution box, fill the box with cleaning solution, and close the lid securely. Refill when the float touches the bottom.
  4. Reinstall the cleaning solution box and the clean water tank until they click into place.
  5. Briefly press the button to turn the appliance on or off. Step onto the floor brush gently and tilt the appliance backward to start cleaning.
  6. The appliance can lie flat at a 180-degree angle, allowing you to clean under low-profile furniture.
  7. Briefly press the button to switch between different modes as needed.
  8. Briefly press the automatic distribution switch to enable or disable the cleaning solution ratio function (enabled by default). The appliance will automatically adjust the cleaning solution ratio based on app settings and detected dirt levels.

Notes:

  • Do not vacuum foamy liquids.
  • Ensure the floor brush remains firmly against the floor during use.
  • The appliance will remain upright during operation.
  • The appliance is suitable for cleaning floors, marble, tiles, and other hard surfaces.
  • Do not lift or move the appliance while it is operating to prevent dirty water from flowing back into the motor.
  • Do not add any liquids other than the officially approved cleaner. The cleaner is available from the official online store. Refer to the cleaner's label for specific usage instructions.

Self-Cleaning with Hot Water and Drying Mode

  1. Place the appliance back on the charging station, ensuring the clean water tank has enough water for self-cleaning.
  2. On first use, briefly press the self-cleaning button to activate the default immersive hot water self-cleaning. For additional self-cleaning modes or to adjust drying modes, access Dreamehome app settings.
  3. After self-cleaning is complete, the appliance will automatically switch to drying mode. Empty the dirty water tank immediately.

Briefly press after configuration in the app. Switch between standard and deep immersive hot water cleaning modes via voice commands.

Press and hold for 3 seconds to enter independent drying mode.

In drying mode, briefly press to exit drying mode.

Note:

  • Self-cleaning can only be activated when the appliance is charging and the battery level is above 20%.
  • Do not touch the roller brush, hot water, or heating module of the charging station during hot water self-cleaning.

  1. Press the motor release button to remove the motor. Install the motor into the motor handle.
  2. Press and hold the release buttons on both sides of the battery to remove it. Insert the battery into the motor handle with the release buttons facing down.
  3. Briefly press the power button to start cleaning. Briefly press the mode button to switch between Standard and Turbo modes as needed.

Install vacuum attachments as needed.

  • Flexible Combination Attachment: Suitable for cleaning narrow crevices around doors, windows, curtains, corners, and stairs, and under car seats, as well as dust on sofas, tables, and keyboards. Pull out the brush nozzle to extend the flexible combi-attachment. Push and press the latch inwards to retract it.
  • Motorized Mini Brush: Suitable for cleaning dust, hair, and mites from mattresses, knitted sofas, and blankets. Not recommended for delicate surfaces prone to snagging or scratching (e.g., silk).
  • Multi-surface Brush: Suitable for cleaning low-pile carpets, tiles, and hard floors.

When cleaning large debris, switch the large debris switch to . When cleaning dust, switch to to increase suction power.

Note: The motorized mini brush is not recommended for use with the extension wand.

Care and Maintenance

Tips:

  • Turn off the appliance before maintenance. Do not touch the power switch.
  • Replace parts as needed. Parts must be replaced with those available from the manufacturer or their service agent.
  • If the appliance is not used for a long period, charge it fully, unplug it, and store it in a cool, humid environment away from direct sunlight. To prevent battery over-discharge, charge the appliance at least once every 3 months.
  1. Pour out the dirty water. Remove the filter and tap it gently to shake off loose dust. Rinse the filter, tank lid, and tank with clean water. Let them dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Gently wipe the tube and dirt sensor with a damp cloth before use. Insert the dirty water tank into the bottom of the main body and tilt it towards the main body.
  3. After removing the clean water tank, use a coin to rotate the locking buttons on the roller brush cover and remove the cover. Pull up the roller brush handle to remove the roller brush.
  4. Wipe the suction inlet with a dry or damp cloth. Do not rinse the floor brush with water.
  5. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove tangled hair or debris from the roller brush. Rinse the roller brush with clean water and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
  6. Flip the roller brush cover, pull out the lifting robot arm, and push the scraper to the left to remove it. Wash the scraper with clean water. Once completely dry, align it with the slot and push it to the right to reinstall it.
  7. Place the roller brush back in place. Align the roller brush cover with the floor brush and rotate the locking buttons to secure it. Align the clean water tank with the roller brush cover and press it down until it clicks.
  8. This product uses a removable lithium battery, which is a consumable part. If the battery life significantly decreases, even after proper charging, it must be replaced. To do this, press and hold the release buttons on both sides of the battery and slide it out, then insert a new battery.

Notes:

  • It is recommended to replace the filter every 3 to 6 months.
  • Clean as needed. It is recommended to replace the roller brush every 3 to 6 months.
  • Do not rinse the tube or the dirt sensor.
  • Press the dust cup release button to remove the dust cup. Pull the pre-filter upwards, rotate the cyclone system clockwise, and lift it out. Empty the dust.
  • Rinse the pre-filter, cyclone system, and dust cup with clean water. Let them dry for at least 24 hours to ensure complete drying before reinstalling.
  • Press the motor release button downwards to remove the motor. Pull the vacuum filter out of the motor in the indicated direction.
  • Gently tap the vacuum filter to remove dust and debris from the openings. Rinse the vacuum filter with clean water, rotating it 360° during cleaning. Let it dry completely for at least 24 hours.
  • Rotate the latch counter-clockwise to the stop position to remove the roller brush from the slot. Wipe dust from the slot and the transparent cover with a dry cloth or tissue. Use scissors to trim any hair and fibers tangled on the roller brush.
  • To replace the roller brush, open the side cover of the roller brush, replace it with a new one, and close the side cover back in place.
  • Use a coin as shown to rotate the latch counter-clockwise to remove the roller brush from the motorized mini brush.
  • Rinse and clean the roller brush. Place it upright to dry for at least 24 hours.

Notes:

  • Clean the dust cup as needed.
  • It is recommended to clean the cyclone system and pre-filter every 3 to 4 months.
  • It is recommended to replace the filter every 3 to 6 months.
  • Clean with water only; do not add any cleaning solutions.
  • Do not use brushes or fingers to clean the filter.

Troubleshooting

If an error occurs, the appliance will stop working. Consult the following table for troubleshooting. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Troubleshooting

  • No water comes out of the appliance: Clean water tank not installed correctly, or insufficient water. Install or refill the clean water tank.
  • Vent opening leaks water: It takes 30 seconds to moisten the roller brush. Turn on the appliance and check again after 30 seconds.
  • Self-cleaning fails: A collision or a strong pull causes water to enter the motor. Move the appliance gently back and forth while it is on.
  • Filter not completely dry after cleaning: Dry the filter completely before use.
  • Roller brush may be jammed by large debris: Remove the roller brush cover to check and clean the roller brush.
  • Appliance not placed correctly on the charging station: Ensure the appliance is charging before using the self-cleaning function.
  • Self-cleaning cannot be activated if battery level is below 20%: Self-cleaning can only be activated when the appliance is charging and the battery level is above 20%.
  • Dirty water tank not installed or full: Reinstall or empty the dirty water tank.
  • Clean water tank not installed or insufficient water: Reinstall or refill the clean water tank.
  • Poor drying performance: Air outlet and inlet of the charging station may be blocked. Check and clear the blockage of the air outlet and inlet.
  • Wi-Fi connection fails: Wi-Fi network password is incorrect. Ensure the password used to connect to your Wi-Fi network is correct.
  • The appliance does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection. Ensure the robot is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection.
  • Wi-Fi signal is weak. Ensure the robot is in an area with good Wi-Fi coverage.
  • The appliance may not be ready to be configured. Close and reopen the app, then try again according to the instructions.

Battery Disposal and Removal

The built-in lithium-ion battery contains substances that are hazardous to the environment. Before disposing of the battery, ensure that the battery is removed by qualified technicians and disposed of at an appropriate recycling facility.

  • The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
  • The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply when removing the battery.
  • The battery must be disposed of safely.

Removal Guide:

  1. Remove the screw plug at the top rear of the appliance and remove the screw with a screwdriver.
  2. Use a suitable tool to remove the screen assembly and disconnect the cables.
  3. Use a screwdriver to remove all fixing screws from the housing.
  4. Remove the battery pack screws and then remove the battery cover.
  5. Disconnect the battery pack connection cables and remove the battery pack.

CAUTION:

  • Before removing the battery, turn off the power and discharge the battery as much as possible.
  • Unused batteries must be disposed of at an appropriate recycling facility.
  • Do not expose to high-temperature environments to avoid the risk of explosion.
  • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery. If contact occurs, rinse with water and seek medical attention.

Warranty

  1. Dreame is liable to the consumer for any non-conformity in material or workmanship that was not detectable at the time of purchase.

The warranty will not apply in the following cases: a) Problems due to carelessness, use, or installation that do not comply with the instructions provided by Dreame. b) Tampering with and/or modification of the product by entities or persons not expressly authorized by Dreame. c) Damage due to accidental causes and/or consumer negligence, with particular reference to external parts. d) Parts subject to wear and tear that do not have manufacturing defects. e) If there is no valid proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or other document) to certify the date the product was purchased. f) The model and/or product numbers on the purchase certificate do not match the model and/or numbers presented on the product.
