Assembly Instructions

Step 1

Loosely thread the screws (AA) and the hex nuts (DD) onto the round mounting plate (CC) as shown. Adjust the screw length according to the fixture canopy depth.

Diagram Description: The round mounting plate (CC) is shown with screws (AA) and hex nuts (DD) attached. Arrows indicate the ability to slide the screws in or out for adjustment.

Attach this assembly to the outlet box using the mounting screws supplied with the outlet box (not provided). Tighten securely.

Lift up the fixture and pass the screws (AA) through the two mounting holes in the fixture canopy. While holding the fixture, thread the screws (AA) in or out of the round mounting plate (CC) until 3/16" [5mm] of threads are showing. This length is sufficient for mounting.

Next, take the fixture down and tighten the hex nuts (DD) up against the round mounting plate (CC) to secure the adjusted screw length.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows the fixture assembly being attached to an electrical box. An inset diagram contrasts an "INCORRECT" method with a "CORRECT" method for adjusting screw length, showing approximately 3/16" [5mm] of thread exposed for proper mounting.

Step 3

Note: Determine the hanging length of your fixture by removing pipes and optionally cutting electrical and ground wires to length. Do NOT cut electrical or ground wires until the overall length is determined. Leave at least 6 inches (minimum) of wire past the canopy to allow for easy connections.

Pass the wires through the pipes (GG/FF) and nipples (HH) to achieve the desired length, tightening stems as you go to avoid twisting wires. Secure tightly. Pass wires through the canopy (E). Secure the canopy (E) tightly to the pipes (FF).

Diagram Description: An illustration shows multiple pipes (FF, GG, HH) being connected together to form a stem. Electrical wires are shown being fed through these pipes. The canopy (E) is shown being attached to the top of the assembled pipes.

Step 4

Strip 3/8" of insulation from the electrical wire ends.

Using wire nuts (BB), connect the WHITE fixture wire to the WHITE supply wire from the outlet box. Connect the BLACK fixture wire to the BLACK supply wire from the outlet box.

Connect the fixture ground wire and supply ground wire using a wire nut or by fastening to the ground screw on the round mounting plate. Push all wire connections carefully into the outlet box.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows the wiring connections being made inside an electrical box. Wire nuts (BB) are used to connect white-to-white, black-to-black, and ground wires. The ground wire is shown connected to the round mounting plate.

Step 5

Pass the screws (AA) through the two holes in the canopy (E). Secure the fixture to the screws (AA) using the two cylinder nuts (EE) provided. Tighten securely in place.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows the canopy (E) being secured to the mounting screws (AA) using cylinder nuts (EE).

Step 6

Attach the glass shade (B) to the fixture (A) using the socket cover (C) and socket ring (D) to secure it tightly.

Thread the lamp (not included) into the fixture socket. Use a 60-watt MAX incandescent medium base lamp, SBCFL, or SBLED.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows the glass shade (B) being attached to the fixture body (A). The socket cover (C) and socket ring (D) are used to secure the shade. A light bulb is shown being screwed into the socket.
