Before Starting
Before using your Contixo Kids Smart Watch, please ensure the device is the correct model and includes all accessories listed in the package. It is also recommended to fully charge the battery before initial use.
Functional Area Diagram
The Contixo Kids Smart Watch features several key components:
- Camera: Located on the front, used for capturing photos and recording videos.
- USB Charge Port: A port for connecting the charging cable.
- SD Card Slot: A slot for inserting a microSD card to expand storage.
- MIC: The built-in microphone for audio input.
- Shutter Button: A physical button, often on the side or front, to take photos.
- Back Button: Navigates to the previous screen or function.
- Reset Button: A small button, often recessed, used for device resets.
- Power Button: Used to turn the device on/off, and to put it into or wake it from sleep mode.
Operating Instructions
How to Operate
Navigate through the watch interface by swiping left or right on the idle screen to change themes. Tap the screen to access the main menu and launch applications.
Switch On and Off
Press the power button briefly to put the device into sleep mode or to wake it up. To turn the device on or completely shut it down, press and hold the power button. If the device does not start, it may have a low battery; please charge it for a few minutes and try again.
How to Charge the Device
- Connect the USB charging cable to a suitable USB adapter (not included).
- Plug the USB adapter into a standard power outlet.
- Connect the other end of the USB charging cable to the device's charge port.
A dynamic charging icon will appear on the screen when the device is charging correctly. A "Fully Charged" icon indicates the battery is full.
Caution: Use only a 5V 1A USB adapter. Ensure the power outlet is safe and functioning correctly.
Idle Screen & Functions
The default idle screen displays the current Time, Date (e.g., March 3rd), Day (e.g., Monday), and Battery status.
Applications:
- CAMERA: Access the camera by touching the camera icon or pressing the shutter button. Filters can be changed by tapping the icon in the upper left corner. Press the power button quickly to exit the camera app.
- PHOTOS: View saved pictures and photos by tapping the "Photos" app icon.
- VIDEO: Start video recording by touching the videotape icon. To finish and save the recording, touch the back option.
- PLAYER: Watch saved videos by touching this option.
- MUSIC: Play saved music files. For the device to load music, media files must be transferred to a folder named "MyMusic" on the SD card. To transfer files, power off the watch and connect it to a computer.
- RECORDER: Start voice recording by touching this option.
- CALCULATOR: Perform simple calculations.
- CALENDAR: View the current date.
- TIME TOOLS: Access various time-related tools, including Alarm, Stopwatch, and Timer.
- GAMES: The smartwatch includes 14 pre-installed fun and engaging games.
Settings:
- LANGUAGE: Select the device's operating language. Available options include English, Français, Español, Deutsch, and Italiano.
- Brightness: Adjust the screen brightness.
- Volume: Set the audio volume for the device.
- Wallpaper: Customize and change the home screen wallpaper.
Usage Control
This feature provides parental controls, often referred to as a "kid lock." To access these settings, long-press the screen until it redirects to the control settings page. Follow the on-screen prompts and correctly click the indicated color three times to unlock the feature and enter the usage control settings.
Parents can configure the permitted time for playing games, with options such as: Fully banned, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, or No Limit.
How to Install the SD Card
Ensure the Contixo Kids Smart Watch is turned off before proceeding with SD card installation.
- Locate and open the protective cover marked with an SD card symbol on the left side of the watch.
- Carefully insert the microSD card into the slot, ensuring it is oriented correctly as depicted in the product's visual guide.
- Once the SD card is securely in place, close and secure the protective cover.
Important Note: If you need to replace the SD card, it is crucial to copy the three essential folders from the original card (named JH_Y36GS9, My Music, and zmaee) to the new SD card. Failure to do so may result in the loss of custom wallpapers, installed games, and music files.
Warranty Information
Contixo Inc. offers a One Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty for its products. This warranty is valid from the original date of purchase and covers defects in manufacturing and workmanship.
The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, unauthorized product alterations, improper installation, repairs or modifications by unauthorized personnel, incorrect power supply usage, accidental drops, adverse environmental conditions, or any other circumstances beyond the control of Contixo Inc. This warranty also excludes products that have been opened, used, repaired, repacked, or resealed.
To ensure warranty validation, please retain your original sales invoice and the warranty card.
For warranty service, customers are responsible for the shipping and handling costs to send the product to Contixo. Contixo Inc. will cover the shipping and handling costs for returning the product to the customer. Contixo Inc. is not liable for any loss of the product during the warranty shipping process.
