First Setup: Bluetooth Pairing
Follow these steps to pair your Studio ANC headphones with your device via Bluetooth.
Step 1: Enable Bluetooth
On your device, go to Settings and turn on Bluetooth.

Step 2: Power On Headphones
With the Studio ANC headphones off, press and hold the power button for approximately 8 seconds. A fast-blinking red and blue light indicates the headphones are in Bluetooth pairing mode.

Step 3: Select Device
On your device's Bluetooth settings, select "JLab JBuds Air ANC" to connect.

Once paired, you will hear a voice prompt: "You are connected," and the headphone indicator light will blink blue slowly.
Pairing New / Additional Devices
To pair with a new device, first turn off Bluetooth on your previously paired device, then turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Repeat the "First Setup" process.
Notes on Bluetooth:
- Bluetooth is a wireless technology sensitive to objects between the headphones and the connected device.
- The headphones are designed for optimal use within 33 feet (10 meters) of your connected device, provided there are no major obstructions like walls.
- After a successful connection, the headphones will remember your device and automatically connect when powered on. Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. To pair a second device, unpair the current device through its Bluetooth settings first.
- If the Bluetooth connection is interrupted for any reason, manually reconnect your Bluetooth device.
Button Functions
- Volume Up / Next Track: Press once for Volume Up. Press and hold for 2+ seconds for Next Track.
- Volume Down / Previous Track: Press once for Volume Down. Press and hold for 2+ seconds for Previous Track.
- Power On / Off: Press and hold for 2+ seconds.
- Play / Pause / Answer / End Calls: Press once.
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1 second.
- Activate Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Press twice.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Refer to "First Setup".
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)
- Bluetooth Connection: Press once to turn ANC On/Off. (2 beeps for On, 1 beep for Off).
- AUX Connection: Press and hold both buttons for 2+ seconds to turn ANC On/Off. (2 beeps for On, 1 beep for Off).
AUX Input
Connect the included AUX cable to your headphones and a media device for wired audio playback or to use the headphones without battery power.

Charging
For optimal performance, charge your headphones overnight using the micro USB cable before first use. Allow approximately 3 hours for a full charge.
Connect the micro USB cable (included) to the headphones and plug the USB end into a computer or power adapter (not included). The USB connection must have a power source.
A solid red light indicates the headphones are charging. A solid blue light indicates charging is complete.
Note: The Studio ANC headphones can still be used while charging. After charging, power on and connect to your device.

AUX Connection Notes
- The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature can function when connected via AUX input. Press and hold the ANC button for 2+ seconds to turn it ON.
- The AUX input will override your Bluetooth connection. Disconnect the AUX cable to return to Bluetooth.
- Button functions for your Bluetooth device may not work when the AUX cable is connected.
- Volume will depend on the settings of your AUX device. Adjust accordingly.
Warnings
- Be careful not to let moisture or liquid get onto the headphone earcups.
- Do not use in extreme heat, cold, or humidity.
- Do not drop or crush the headphones. Do not pull the cable quickly or forcefully, or bend it at sharp angles.
- Earwax may accumulate in the earcups, which can degrade sound quality. Carefully remove earwax with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try reducing the volume or temporarily discontinue use.
- If you encounter recurring issues while using this product, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
- We recommend treating your headphones with the same care as sunglasses. Store them in a safe place when not in use.
