Getting Started
Battery Installation
Your LifePod X requires 4 AA batteries. Ensure batteries are correctly oriented according to the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
Steps:
- Locate the battery compartment, typically on the interior or underside of the safe lid.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert batteries, matching '+' and '-' terminals.
- Close the compartment cover securely.
Note: Use high-quality alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
Initial Power Up & Reset
Upon battery installation, the keypad may illuminate. A factory reset procedure might be necessary if prompted or if you encounter issues.

Programming the Keypad
The LifePod X allows you to set a personal identification number (PIN) for quick and secure access.
Setting a New PIN Code
Your safe comes with a default PIN or may require you to set one upon initial power-up.

- Press the Program button (often labeled 'P' or a gear icon ⚙️).
- Enter the current PIN code (if applicable, or follow prompt for initial setup).
- Press the Program button again.

Note: It is highly recommended to change the default PIN immediately for security.

Deleting User Codes
To delete a PIN code, follow the programming sequence and enter the code you wish to delete, or follow the factory reset procedure.
Operating the LifePod X
Opening the Safe
Using the Keypad:
- Press any button to wake the keypad.
- Enter your programmed PIN code.
- Press the Enter button (often labeled 'E' or a checkmark ✔️).
- If the code is correct, the lock mechanism will disengage.
- Open the lid. The interior light will illuminate.
Using the Backup Key:
- Locate the keyhole, usually hidden or protected.
- Insert one of the backup keys.
- Turn the key to disengage the lock.
- Open the lid.
Note: Keep backup keys in a secure location separate from the safe.
Closing the Safe
Ensure all items are inside. Close the lid firmly until it latches. The safe will automatically lock.
